The GOP leadership is also aligning behind DeSantis. What does that tell you?
From the beginning, I have encouraged Pres. Trump to reach out to Gov. De Santis to announce EARLY that De Santis will be Pres. Trump's VP Candidate... I have appealed to De Santis to take the lesser role for the good of the Nation and to WAIT his turn as President, after Pres. Trump puts the nation back on track. An early announcement would shock the Nation's political pundits, set the narrative for the next 2 years, and avoid the infighting and division that would result from both men challenging each other for the nomination of our party.
I urge each of them to find common ground and to take the advice of Ronald Reagan and his 11th commandment... "Thou Shall Not Speak Ill of Any Republican". It is time to unite the GOP not divide it... time to put aside personal goals in favor of our National interests and the pending train wreck... the dissolution of the Union and our Constitutional Republic.
If De Santis is smart... he will not... will not split the vote and conservative leadership in the GOP. Holding dual rallies and playing off the support of RINOs will land him upside down in the middle of the swamp... it will also split much of the political power needed to reform the GOP before the 2024 election cycle.
De Santis must not ID with the RINO wing of the GOP...

It would be wise for De Santis to meet privately with Pres. Trump... to outline the rules for their relationship... personal and political. They need to embrace a unified position on how to proceed with the major issues while engaging the public. Reagan's First Commandment must be used when dealing with each other... "Speak no evil of each other", during the 2024 election cycle.
De Santis and Trump need to cooperate.. they must be seen as complementing each other's strengths, and building an undefeatable wing of conservatives in the GOP... They need to focus on JOINTLY pursuing the RINOs in the GOP, to silence or remove them from the party early in 2023... They must establish overwhelming control of the RNC and all State GOP chairs.. by the end of 2023...
Both Trump and De Santis must be seen as allies, not enemies.... both must jointly work to reform the Party and then the Nation.. by taking complete control of the GOP in 2023... to, do that they need to remove the treason in the GOP/RNC and its agents... early and decisively.
