The U.S. Department of Justice will soon decide whether to close down the investigation into the origins of Russiagate, a lie fabricated by Barack Obama’s FBI, Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, and the Democratic National Committee among other bad actors seeking to ruin Donald Trump. U.S. Attorney John Durham, named special counsel by former Attorney General William Barr in October 2020 after more than 18 months of dawdling, has uncovered a damning trail of evidence to show “collusion” existed not between Trump and the Kremlin but between Democratic Party interests, including the national news media, in an attempt to rig the 2016 presidential election.
It’s unclear whether Durham will issue a final report on the matter; what is clear, however, is Durham’s effort has been an abysmal failure in terms of holding anyone criminally responsible for the biggest political fraud in modern history.
Rather than targeting those at the top of the scheme, including former FBI Director James Comey and U.S. Representative Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) to name a few, Durham has pursued minor offenses against low-level operatives resulting so far in one guilty plea and one acquittal.
If Joe Biden’s Justice Department doesn’t extend the inquiry—and there is no reason at this point to believe it will—the Durham investigation will go down as yet another massive failure in the face of provable and destructive Democratic Party corruption at the highest levels. Those same escape artists instead are now emboldened, brazenly using the Justice Department to prosecute Trump voters and advisors to build a long-desired criminal case against the former president for his alleged role in the “attack” on the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

They are not out "leaders"! They work for us. They are (supposedly) "representatives". Seems like all they "represent" is their own bank account. Time to replace them all!
Precisely, Ken. Those who call our Representatives "leaders" clearly do not understand the function of a Representative Republic. WE THE PEOPLE are the leaders. The hapless drones in the District of Corruption are intended to be our REPRESENTATIVES. If you look at the most recent comments from Republican Senators, they "didn't have time to read the Red Flag bill" that they passed. They were too busy perpetually running for re-election, and counting Lobbyist money coming in the back door, while soliciting money from citizens coming in the front door. Shameless and spineless.
If our elected representatives are not leaders then who are our leaders... If our political leaders hold no office of authority in the government,,, Who shall lead the Nation... will it be chaos or quality representation? Do not confuse the quality of leadership with those holding positions of leadership.
Presently, our leaders are for the most part spineless dupes with the worst of them being traitors to the Nation If anyone is confused regarding the function of our elected leaders... our representatives, it is you. Our Federal and State Representatives double as political leaders by focusing on and leading their constituents in support of quality government. Good leaders are in fact servants of those they lead ... listening to their needs and serving their welfare. You may want to reconsider your definition of leadership.
The beauty and uniqueness of the Declaration of Independence and its corolary the U.S. Constitution is that for the first time in history of this planet a system of rule was created whereby the people run the government, not the government run the people. The genius of the Founders, however, lie in the fact that they understood the frailties of the human condition, namely that power corrupts and usurpers are many among us. For that reason, they created a system of checks and balances to eliminate to the greatest extent possible the power hungry tyrants from snatching power by virtue of their public office. To this end, the verbiage states "of the PEOPLE, by the PEOPLE, and for the POEPLE, not the reresentatives or "leaders' that you wrongfully imagine. As a matter of fact, I am an accomplished leader in several different areas of endeavor, including private and public domains. Set your own standards; mine are not shakeable.
By your own admission your example of "leaders" are spineless dupes. That's not leadership. You need to rethink your definition of leadership.
Evidently, neither you nor Ray have ever taken a leadership course... The first duty of leadership is to SERVE. Leaders are to care for those they serve. They do that by leading them in ways that keep them safe and serve their interests... just as a Good Shepherd does with his flock. He leads them to safe pastures and calm waters. I put it this way in my post above:
"Our Federal and State Representatives double as political leaders by focusing on and leading their constituents in support of quality government. Good leaders are in fact servants of those they lead ... listening to their needs and serving their welfare."
The President is both our servant and leader... he is often referred to as the leader of the free world. Maybe you and Ray shoujld inform Trump that he is not our leader ... and while at it tell McConnell he is not the Minority LEADER of the Senate or McCarthy that he is not the minority LEADER in the House..
We will never see eye to eye... When I say up is not down... you will rebut that down is indeed up... etc. Some individuals are just incorrigible
Not surprisingly, your definition of leadership emanates from a course lesson. That is a typical militaristic view of "leadership" whereby leaders are created by pinning a symbol on their shoulders or collars. Leadership is a trait, not a title or rank.
Military leadership is not conferred by the mere anointing or pinning on of one's rank... Military rank and leadership positions are earned thru a process of education and demonstrated proficiency as a leader. Unlike a Burecrat a military leader is constantly under the supervision of his superiors and his soldiers. Success in the military is measured in lives on the battlefield. Failure to properly lead in a military unit is rapidly evident and can lead to some very harsh complications if left unaddressed. Your appraisal of military leadership is so off base it hardly deserves a response.
It's better to be thought of as a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt, Colonel.
According to your assessment, Mark Milley, the obese moron who couldn't orchestrate a three car funeral, is the eptome of miiitary "leadership".
I made no assesment of Gen Milley... albiet I believe he should have been retired early in Trump's administration.
