Here's what we know:
In early June, an anonymous group began spreading online flyers for a March on Washington 2020, slated for Aug. 28, to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s historic “I Have a Dream” speech and accompanying march that took place 57 summers ago.
The posts (which mysteriously ended) over a month ago, caused plenty of confusion over who’s organizing the march and whether it’s a legitimate event.
Well, the March on Washington is happening — or at least some version of it is. In fact, there’s a planned march with at least 100,000 participants expected to be in attendance, along with multiple organizations and activists involved. Here’s what we know, so far, about the plans for later this summer:
Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network (NAN) has scheduled a march with an estimated 100,000 participants, 1,000 buses, a host of jumbotrons and lighting equipment, and at least 10 tents on or near the National Mall, according to a permit application from early June obtained by DCist.
The event, officially titled the “Get Off Our Necks” Commitment March on Washington, already has at least 40,000 registrants, and some hotels nearby have already been sold out, according to NAN’s D.C. Bureau Chief Ebonie Riley.
“The influx of inquiries has been relentless,” Riley told DCist over email. “We are in a similar climate like August of 1963. Some of the same issues that took place then are taking place now. In 1963, the purpose of the march was to advocate for the civil and economic rights of Black people, and that’s still relevant.”
She describes the march as part of an intergenerational and inclusive movement, and that it will be led by families of Black people killed by police officers. This summer’s event is “only a launching pad to the work ahead,” she added.
The official rundown of events says guests will start gathering along the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool starting at 7 a.m., followed by a program of speakers from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. The actual march, from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., will begin at the Lincoln Memorial and end at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial.

Mike Litterst, a spokesperson for the National Park Service, told DCist/WAMU that the application for the permit has not been issued yet. With many similarly themed events taking place that same day, NPS has seen some groups consolidate their efforts.
Most notably, Litterst says, NAN has actually withdrawn its application and will organize its march under a permit submitted by broadcaster and activist Rev. Mark Thompson. Riley didn’t respond to DCist’s request to clarify the status of NAN’s permit application, but stated in an earlier message that the group is currently working with NPS in weekly meetings to finalize the permit.

First, a quick thank you, cough, to "the tea party," for fessing up to exactly who your "partners" are, i.e., Communist, Communist sympathizers, and basically everybody except the American Nazi Parry, predominately places the Uncle Joe Stalin and his NKVD/KGB killers and thugs chose to begin their anti-America operations soon after he murdered his way to the top of the Communist Party (after, of course, murdering the Tsar, his wife and blowing the heads off their helpless children during the "Russian Revolution" of 1917) in the late 1920s. Nice work. Meaning you also support his current incarnation Killary and her pet monkey (and, by definition, the murders they've committed, i.e., ex-boyfriends of Barry Soetoro, Breitbart (and his coroner's tech), Tom Clancy, and let's not forget Chris Stevens who was serially raped, tortured with a cattle prod to the genitals and finally tortured to death--all with the full consent of Barry Soetoro and Killery herself--remember the "stand-down" orders his rescuers got when they were half-way out the do on the actual rescue?). And her comment (I assume you also agree with), i.e., "what does it matter?" Those are some nice people you've hooked up with.
But, as I said, thank you. I've had suspicions for years and now I know just, exactly, whose side you're on and you finally confirmed my suspicions, i.e., NOT our side.
Further, I can't part without saying how morally corrupt and literally insane Barry, Hillary as well as most Democrats and how sad it is that the Republicans are catching that vile little bug called Communism, Socialism, Marxism, whatever term you want for people dedicated to Karl Marx to the point of open Murder.
But here's the other side to that coin...you people are so hateful, so disgusting in your asperations and your greed and so open in your disregard for human life and for what America stands for that you are creating thousands, if not millions of people, who use to be fence-sitters, into actual hostile adversaries of everything you stand for. I still think it's fortuitous (that means lucky) that Trump has so inraged the Alt-Left that quite a few of you have come out of the closet and shown your true colors. Soviet-style Red.
Lastly, I appreciate why you people hate the First Amendment so much and that this post has a life span of anything from a few seconds to a few minutes...none of that matters. The Truth does, and it's out now.

The Tea Party posted this article for information on Sharptons latest scam. I think your confused, the "Our Partners" is supporters of NAN, Sharptons group , not the Tea Party. Otherwise I can't imagine what you are talking about. Unless you have been imbibing on some of obama's leftover kool-aid and snakeoil.

Sharpton is not a real reverend. Every real reverend is a conservative by definition. But Sharpton is a has been. Who ist still listening to him? The train has left the station. The country is moving into the right, conservative direction under Trump. No turning back now!
