Did Assma lie about being appointed Municipal Court Judge - or are Mississippi officials lying about never appointing her?

Assma A. Ali publicly announced her appointment as a Municipal Court Judge.
She posed in a black judicial robe holding a gavel.
She participated in interviews and videos with Yemeni media presenting herself as a newly appointed judge - including a foreign-language video in which she discusses receiving the judgeship while continuing to run her legal firm.
Major Yemeni diaspora platforms and community figures celebrated it as a historic first: the first Yemeni American Muslim hijabi woman judge in the country.
She has since scrubbed many of those posts. We captured them all. 😎
However, she has left the announcement up on her Instagram page, and many in her community are still promoting it.
This is the same Assma A. Ali who publicly cheered radical DSA operative Zohran Mamdani and who sat behind and vigorously defended radical Amer Ghalib - the former Hamtramck mayor whose U.S. ambassador nomination collapsed over his record of praising Saddam Hussein as a “martyr,” engaging Jew-hatred content, and expressing admiration for the Muslim Brotherhood.
Her law firm’s logo features crossed scimitars that look eerily similar to Muslim Brotherhood imagery.
Well-known Islamic activist Dr. Debbie Almontaser (forced out of a New York school for defending “Intifada NYC” T-shirts) posted a glowing tribute calling her the first of her kind. DSA official Jamaal Bowman also congratulated her.
🚨On the other side:
One Ridgeland alderman privately denied it.
No public statement or official records from the City of Ridgeland of any other city confirming the appointment have surfaced yet.
Official judiciary directories still list only the previously known judges.
So which is it?

A licensed attorney fabricated an elaborate public claim, staged photos in a judicial robe, misled her entire community and foreign media, left the false announcement live on Instagram, and allowed radical networks to celebrate a penetration of deep-red Mississippi
or
Elected officials in Mississippi are not being fully transparent about what happened.
Both possibilities are serious.
Until the state releases the official appointment records (or Assma A. Ali issues a clear public retraction with an explanation), no one knows the real truth.
The evidence is still in conflict.
