The Secret Service announced this week that the agency has finished its investigation into the mysterious baggie of cocaine that was found in the White House earlier this month with finding the culprit.
The agency said that the case was closed due to a lack of forensic evidence coupled with the fact that the class A drug was found an area in which around 500 people passed through at the time it was believed to have been discarded.
It was determined by the agency that because the cocaine amounted to around 0.007 ounces, meaning it would only be a misdemeanor offense in the District of Columbia, it would be a waste of public resources to interview 500 people.
Secret Service spokesman Anthony Gugliemi told NBC News that conducting such a vast amount of interviews may also infringe on civil rights and that without physical evidence, a confession would likely be necessary.
'Yes, you could have a consensual interview. But we have no evidence to approach them,' Gugliemi said.

First, of the 500 or more individuals who used that entrance on the day in question, there is a much smaller sub-set of suspects who carried bags and or used the cubby whole for that entrance... That much smaller body of individuals all needed to be interviewed and tested for drug use. Of those individuals who entered the building that day ... before the baggy was discovered... and was shown on camera accessing the cubby whole needed to be interviewed and DRUG TESTED.
All Federal employees who access high-security areas or have jobs in such areas are subject to mandatory drug testing on demand. All visitors to high secuirty federal installations that gain access to sensitive areas are subject to search and interrogation as necessary to meet national security standards. Access to sensitive White House rooms and zones subject civilians to such scrutiny as warranted by the Secret Services and our national security laws and regulations.
As far as I understand it the White House uses drug dogs and chemical SNIFFERS to automatically check all individuals and bags brought into the White House... what happened ... how did this bag of cocaine make it past th outer entrances? Something is rotten in Denmark and it isn't the cheese.
No one has a civil right to refuse inquiries by police for a voluntary interview... with or without the counsel. .... the individual can refuse. This case is being swept under the proverbial carpet... The Secret Service has the video and forensic evidence needed to ID the offender. The Secret Service knows who placed the cocaine in the cubby whole.
NO D.C. IS THE DISTRICT OF TRAITORS AND MURDER OF THIS NATION WILL BE A FELONY. There will never be any True Retribution...HOWEVER, Any READER WHO IS CLOSE ENOUGH TO THE TAXIWAY and AIRSTRIP-----BLOW THE TIRES OFF AND TAKE THEM PRISONERS
GOSH, this ought to be the final straw with their desecration of the WHITE HOUSE, D.C. and OUR REPUBLIC. The Founding Fathers must be rolling in their graves. THERE'S A COUPLE OF ASSES WHO NEED TO BE HUNG OUT TO DRY, (FOR ETERNITY).
Couldn't agree with you more. The whole so called justice system sucks
Oh please, as if we don't know who is responsible!
