If this bill is just a rewrite of the atrocious assault on our freedoms, like the Patriot Act that was signed by George Bush,and which should have sunsetted a long time ago, then all free and patriot Americans should oppose it as well. Our God-given and constitutionally protected freedoms have been progressively compromised by authoritarian politicians and unelected bureaucrats for the entire lives of most of us living today, and these unconstitutional intrusions on our private, personal lives must stop. Now! An Article V Convention of States may be the only option left to save our constitutional republic, since too many in Congress have long ago gone off the rails and are no longer faithful their oath of office or to the principles that have made this country great.
