Senate Democrats Block Bill to Pay Military During a Shutdown

I’ve always been under the impression that the House of Representatives was in control of the purse strings of OUR government. Is that an accurate assumption or NOT?

When democrats control the House, they most certainly DO.

When Republicans control the House they most certainly DO NOT.

Do the democrats possess some sort of insider knowledge of the operation of government that Republicans do not?

Why is it that, regardless of who has the majority, democrats can ALWAYS block a Republican spending package but Republicans can NEVER block the democrat’s agenda driven spending?

Where is it written that: Joe Biden can spend or give away the taxpayer’s money at his discretion?

Just asking a few question to help me understand the inner workings of OUR government.

ps… Why are most politicians either millionaires or billionaires ????
