This is the part of Portland local politicians don’t want you to see. They continue to pretend everything is OK. Everything is not OK. We are in the middle of a severe mental health and addiction crisis on the streets of Portland. Not to mention today, I witnessed multiple crimes pic.twitter.com/P97kl7drwY

I returned to old town Portland tonight and found this guy completely wasted. I stopped him once from driving away, but the second time he jumped out then jumped back in, locked his doors and drove off. He’s gonna kill someone. I called 911. The streets of Portland are not safe. pic.twitter.com/oumGF8UkPC

The streets of Portland today have been completely chaotic. Lots of violence, lots of crime, lots of mental illness, and lots of drug use. It’s impossible not to notice unless you’re choosing not to. (talking to you, governor) pic.twitter.com/zyQ8ndmU5p

The Portland, Oregon homeless crisis. Today I’m in East Portland. Many homeless live next to the train tracks, many others are well hidden in our woods. Sexual assault seem to be more common in this area possibly because it’s isolated. The area pic.twitter.com/s3jurWV9WY
