Folks........ It his high time we buckle down and take this fight directly to our supposedly Elected Leaders (Senators and Congressmen)...... I have e-mailed the letter below to both my Senators and a similar Letter will go to my Congressman.
I am in the middle of gathering documents for my 2025 tax return, jumping through every hoop required to make sure every dollar is properly reported and accounted for. Like millions of Americans, I have to document my income, verify my deductions, and prove the accuracy of everything I submit to the government.
Yet the same government demanding this level of precision from its citizens cannot seem to account for billions—if not trillions—of dollars in federal spending.
That is unacceptable!!!!!!
The American people are tired of the excuses, the endless finger-pointing, and the political theater about why the federal budget cannot be balanced or why spending cannot be transparently accounted for. Families and small businesses across this country live within budgets every single day. We do not have the luxury of printing money, running endless deficits, or losing track of where our money goes.
You do!!!!
And you are directly responsible for fixing it!!!!!
Congress has the constitutional authority over federal spending and taxation. That means the responsibility for the exploding national debt, chronic deficits, and lack of financial accountability ultimately rests with you and your colleagues.
We are expected to be accountable to the IRS for every dollar we earn. The least you can do is ensure that the federal government is accountable to the taxpayers for every dollar it spends.
I am not interested in hearing why it is difficult. Leadership is supposed to be difficult.
Balance the budget!!!!! OR RESIGN AND LET YOUR REPLACEMENT DO IT!!!!!
Demand transparent accounting of federal spending.
Stop passing the problem to the next generation of Americans.
Your constituents are paying attention, and we are tired of the excuses.
