Apparently crab and steak are too luxurious for our warfighters.

But perfectly fine for food stamps?
If that’s the new standard, remove them from SNAP.
No one is more worthy of a “luxury” meal than our men and women in uniform. https://t.co/aBngHoyEWe
Pete Hegseth spent $100,000 on a piano, $2 million on Alaskan King Crab, $7 million on lobster tail, $15 million on steak, $120,000 on ice cream machines, and $12,000 on fruit basket stands… JUST IN SEPTEMBER!

(But, tell me again how Somali day care centers are the problem.)
I would like to apologize to the American taxpayer for eating steak during the 16 months I spent in Afghanistan while working 15+ hours a day.

Ah yes, my fellow Americans who've never served bitching about a decent meal for deployed servicemembers.

In 1992, as the L.A. Riots wound down, my unit was on two-hour standby in an armory parking lot in Irvine, about 35 miles from the riot zone. Day two into eating bad baloney…

The good Friday meal was really something good for the body and spirit. We all enjoyed it, it was even like a family dinner out almost.
The anti-US warrior propaganda is just that, offensive loaded and misleading. https://t.co/4FyxZ0pvjp
So, let's see how much our Congressional members have received in food/lodging allowance while they bitch about our military having one nice meal/maybe two per year.
PS: Congress does not need to provide receipts and gets reimbursed up to $258 per day.
2023: $5.8 million dollars food and lodging
2025: $3.2 million dollars for food and lodging.
Joking aside, the military divide is so wide you could put a field army in it.

Hateful people will never understand what a good meal does to someone serving.
They literally have no frame of reference.
It’s not something that can be explained unless you live it.
It matters.
Yes, when I was in the submarine force on Sundays underway we had surf & turf.

Why was that? Because once a week we got to have a somewhat nicer meal as a reward for SPENDING YEARS OF OUR LIVES UNDERWATER so that people could make stupid points about non-news like this. https://t.co/b4XgypP4A3
I ate MREs for months in RC-East Afghanistan, flew in to Bagram and had steak and lobster on a Friday.

Deployed troops should get this every night.
