Speaker Johnson blows the cover on the Democratic agenda

I hope the GOP firms up it's stand on the clean continuing resolution. If it does, there will be two benefits for the American people. The First is less of a debt incurred, and second, the longer the government stays shut down, the more the public will see just how little they need the beheamoth it has become. This could lead to a general demand by the people to force a Balanced Budget on Congress that the Supreme Court could not call unconstitutional like they did for the Gramm-Rudman-Hollings Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985. The people would demand a Constitutional Amendment for that, and if they are smart. a term limit Amendment also.

We know Congress would not propose those amendments, so we would have to use the Constitutional Remedy the founders put in to insure the people would have control over the Federal Government. An Article-V Amendment proposal Convention petitioned for by the States.
