There is no need to raise the Debt ceiling... current revenues collected by the US Treasury are sufficient to pay the interest on our debt and fund the essential services of government. What is needed is a CUT IN SPENDING... starting with, foreign aid, welfare programs, and payments made to illegal aliens and their dependents.
We have the funds to pay our debts... it is a matter of choices in spending ... do we provide billions to illegal aliens, billions more to aid the EUkraine and their foreign governments.. or do we LOAN THEM THE FUNDS TO BE REPAID once the emergency is over? We also need to stop funding unnecessary expansions of the government... 84K new IRS Agents are not needed.
