Daniel King Jr.Ouachita Parish Sheriff's OfficeDaniel King Jr., 38, was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated assault by drive-by shooting, the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office said on Facebook Saturday.
He was also charged with one count of criminal neglect of family, and booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center, the Monroe News-Star reported.
Bond was set at $150,000, according to the report.
Nobody was injured in the Friday afternoon shooting, in which up to 10 shots were fired from a Ford F-250 pickup truck on a road outside the West Monroe property, authorities said.
Robertson, who had just left to go to the store before the shooting, said his family was “pretty shook up” after one bullet flew through the bedroom window of a home where his son John Luke Robertson lives with his wife and infant child.
He told deputies that a second residence at the estate was also struck by gunfire.
Authorities said other occupants were in the car with the alleged shooter at the time, but have not released information on any additional suspects.
Robertson said he believes those responsible knew he resides on the property they targeted.
