  • Video games and addiction to phone tech has done its intended damage. The brain CANNOT deal with the high intensity of video games. I can tell you that of my groups of students in the design field, interior design, graphic design and multi-media design, I could fail each and every one of the multi-media students with few exceptions. The brain has to be taught properly, in sequence and at the right age. It is not only the culture either, it is the parent's failings. Reading an actual BOOK.....teaches many, many skills, from WHY there are margins on a page, something no one thinks about. And that is a "small" thing. Spelling, good grief. You can't spell if you don't READ. You can't think if you don't READ.
