According to reports, the Justice Department has reportedly issued a warning to Missouri officials that the state cannot ignore federal gun control laws if they come to fruition.
This warning comes shortly after Missouri Governor Mike Parson signed into law the “Second Amendment Preservation Act” which prohibits state and local law enforcement from enforcing gun control laws deemed by the state to be unconstitutional.

On June 12th, Governor Parson signed into state law HB85, which was aptly dubbed as the “Second Amendment Preservation Act”.
The law, in the simplest of terms, simply bans state and local law enforcement officers from enforcing federal gun laws. When Governor Parson signed the legislation earlier in June, he stated the following:
“Throughout my law enforcement career and now as Governor of the state of Missouri, I have and always will stand for the Constitution and our Second Amendment rights.”
“This legislation today draws a line in the sand and demonstrates our commitment to reject any attempt by the federal government to circumvent the fundamental right Missourians have to keep and bear arms to protect themselves and their property.”
Democrat Missouri House Minority Leader Crystal Quade referred to the bill as being “radical, dangerous and obviously unconstitutional,” and claims that Governor Parson and Republicans within the state have “chosen to preserve Missouri’s growing reputation for extremist and dangerous laws.”

Without a federal police force to enforce unconstitutional acts the federal government can do nothing.
The democrat minority leader skips the unconstitutionality of the federal government's actions.
