It's not just the Teacher's Union. Not all schools are union. My community college was never unionized. The leftist crap came in through the (then) newly elected college President. Some faculty, who knew his 'reputation,' chose instead, to retire. And he had a 'way' of forcing things left.
He was inspirational.
His way or Out. Left or Out. Those of us who were under the radar and in good departments, managed to say a thing while doing a thing. Others who tried to rise and keep what was good or bring good, learned to be as hidden as possible.
