1/3 babies born across much of Western Europe has a mother born outside that country. In Switzerland, it’s almost half. But here’s the thing. Eurostat counts a German mother in Zurich the same as a mother from outside Europe, so this is not a third world only figure. You can still look at the list and pretty much guess whether the mothers are from the EU or not. Point is, it actually matters where foreigners are from.
