Yes. People are focusing a lot on the Socialist Rifle Association. Still, they should also know that the John Brown Gun Club, which is an even more extreme far-left militia, has been linked to several domestic terrorist attacks. That group is part of the Antifa network.
In 2019, the Antifa gunman who tried to blow up the Tacoma, Wash. ICE facility was a member of the JBGC. Willem van Spronsen refined his skills in making a homemade unregistered rifle in the group. He sent an Antifa "bella ciao" manifesto to his comrades before the deadly attack. (Unlike Tyler Robinson's parents, they didn't contact police.)
In 2025, the Texas Antifa members accused of shooting up the ICE facility in Alvarado, shooting one officer in the neck, were revealed to be members of the Elm Fork JBGC.
