While the Left clamors for Medicare for All and unfettered mass immigration, look at countries that already tried the combination.
The result is nothing good.Germany has socialized medicine and years of open-border policies. Here’s the reality on the ground:
Berlin emergency rooms are now forced to lock down when migrant clan members arrive injured from street fights. Police flood in, evidence is collected, and the entire ER can be sealed for hours. Regular patients are turned away while staff follow security protocols: no female nurses alone with certain groups, Jewish-sounding names kept off those cases. One ER nurse said he hasn’t worn a name tag in years for his own safety.Knife attacks linked to the migrant crime surge have driven a sharp rise in life-threatening stab wounds treated in trauma centers.
Hospitals are absorbing the violence that open borders imported.Meanwhile the system itself is cracking under cost and capacity pressure: massive deficits, hospital funding shortfalls measured in billions of euros, longer waits for specialists, and staff stretched thin.
If you want American ERs and hospitals turned into the same Third World nightmare, security lockdowns, diverted care, rising violence, and rationed treatment for citizens, keep pushing the same policies here.
We still have a choice. Germany is showing us exactly where this path leads.
