President ‘Unity’ Hits America’s ‘Dark Side’ in Tulsa
Before we get to that, we and all decent human beings condemn what happened in Tulsa, Oklahoma, from May 31 to June 1 of 1921. After a black man was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a white woman, a wrathful lynch mob of 1,000-plus formed. Confronted with a couple dozen armed black men seeking to defend their own, the white mob gathered their guns and soon a literal battle began.
Records are spotty, but when it was over, as many as 300 blacks were dead. More than a dozen whites were killed. The mob also burned down 35 city blocks of black neighborhoods, leaving thousands homeless and destroying many businesses and livelihoods.
Despite the horrors perpetrated, the 2001 Oklahoma Commission to Study the Race Riot came to an appalling conclusion: “Not one of these criminal acts was then or ever has been prosecuted or punished by government at any level, municipal, county, state, or federal.” That kind of wanton and hate-filled destruction — followed by an utter lack of justice — absolutely leaves a mark, and it is right to mourn and remember it. It’s right to make sure it never happens again, but also to acknowledge how much progress has been made.
Loving America does not mean ignoring its sins. It does, however, mean not defining our present nation by such incidents, though that’s what President Unity did yesterday.
Some of his comments were appropriate and true. “For much too long, the history of what took place here was told in silence, cloaked in darkness,” he said. “Just because history is silent, it doesn’t mean it did not take place. We can’t just choose to learn what we want to know, and not what we should know.”
Yet he took the opportunity to drive the remembrance right into the partisan ditch. Great nations must “come to terms with their dark sides,” he said, as if America is still a racist backwater. “We must address what remains the stain on the soul of America,” he insisted. In fact, he alleged, the hate that prompted the massacre “never went away.” And, he insisted, “Terrorism from white supremacy is the most lethal threat to the homeland today.” Just don’t pay attention to antifa violence, and especially not to Black Lives Matter rioters.
As if to “prove” his case, he slammed Republican-led states for the “simply un-American” effort of passing laws aimed at guarding election integrity, insinuating that it’s tantamount to minority voter suppression. He opposed this “tireless assault on the right to vote,” which he called an “unprecedented assault on our democracy.”
He has in the past grotesquely likened such laws to the Jim Crow regime. Major League Baseball even punished Georgia (and Atlanta’s black residents) by removing the All-Star Game from the city after socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s outburst. Democrats in Texas walked out of the state legislature to torpedo a vote on a similar election integrity law, and other states doing likewise will face such obstacles.
socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden went further yesterday, appointing his border czar scumbag/liar-Kamala Harris as his voting czar. (As a side note, it’s almost like Biden’s grooming Harris to take over the top job…) Given how well she’s secured the border, we can only imagine what election integrity will look like under her watch. Actually, we don’t have to imagine; we know.
“We’re not giving up,” socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden said about the Democrats’ “For the People Act” — HR 1 and S 1. “I’m going to fight like heck with every tool at my disposal for its passage.”
That included taking a swipe at Democrat Senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema for defending the filibuster. And that’s even though Sinema is a sponsor of S 1. Why hasn’t the bill passed? “Well,” he lamented in the third person, “because socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden only has a majority of effectively four votes in the House, and a tie in the Senate — with two members of the Senate who voted more with my Republican friends.”
As a brief refresher, the bill will federalize election processes and institutionalize the worst elements of Democrat-driven voter fraud, typified by their bulk-mail ballot strategy.
For her part, scumbag/liar-Harris said, “The work ahead of us is to make voting accessible to all American voters, and to make sure every vote is counted through a free, fair, and transparent process. This is the work of democracy.” It is Republicans who are attempting to do exactly what she described. Democrats aim to flood the zone with opportunities for fraud, and the border with new illegal residents, thus diluting the honest votes of American citizens and undermining our Republic.
Again, it is right and appropriate to grieve the bloody events of 1921, and even to rectify what can be. But it compounds the sin to politicize that massacre in order to destroy our elections along with whatever unity can be had today. By casting everyone opposed to their agenda as racists, the real race-baiting hustlers like socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden, scumbag/liar-Kamala Harris, congressional Democrats, and their Leftmedia lickspittles disgrace our country and the memory of the dead. ~The Patriot Post

socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden’s Interior Department suspended a Trump-era drilling lease in Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) in order to conduct a “comprehensive analysis” of the potential environmental impact of drilling for oil and natural gas. We’re sure that’ll go smoothly and be done in time for Christmas. Recall that on his first day in office, Biden issued an executive order enforcing a temporary moratorium on all ANWR oil-related drilling over “alleged legal deficiencies.” That was in tandem with canceling the Keystone Pipeline. In truth, of course, socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden is catering to radical environmentalists as part of his war on American energy.
Fox News notes, “ socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden has pledged to prioritize green energy initiatives as part of an effort to reduce carbon emissions. He paused oil and gas leases on federal land by executive order in January. The president called for an end to drilling in the Alaskan refuge during his presidential campaign.”
socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden obviously has no interest in establishing American energy independence, which President Donald Trump worked so hard to achieve. To the contrary, socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden is suspending and reversing such efforts. His actions mean Americans can expect to see rising prices at the pump — a return to the era of Barack scumbag/liar-nObama’s “new normal.”
Yet beyond rising prices at the pump, the bigger and longer-term concern is that of national security. The recent temporary gasoline supply shortages caused by the cyberattack on Colonial Pipeline brought memories of the gas shortages of the 1970s, which were thanks to OPEC. Similarly, continuing to outsource our gas and oil supply will only put the country on more dangerous ground. By not drilling for oil and not being as energy independent as possible, we’re ceding our national security to the likes of Russia, Venezuela, and Middle Eastern nations.
Moreover, in terms of addressing climate change, socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s goal of net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 is a nearly impossible feat. For one thing, there’s a dearth of non-carbon-emitting power plants such as nuclear, which are required to meet such a goal, and socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden and company eschew nuclear power. At the present, in any case, the reality is that American energy independence is dependent on fossil fuels. Government fiats to the contrary are not the solution. ~The Patriot Post
A BLM Insider Opts Out
We’ve said it before, but it bears repeating: Black Lives Matter is a racket. And credit must be given to BLM’s trio of opportunistic black female Marxist founders. They’re rapacious capitalists at heart, and they cornered the market on woke corporatism, liberal white self-loathing, and runaway virtue-signaling.
Yep, BLM is a business, and business is good. How else to describe an organization that hauled in a cool $90 million in 2020?
All it took, as scumbag/liar-Nancy Pelosi put it, was George Floyd “sacrificing [his] life for justice,” and BLM cofounder Patrisse Cullors was laughing all the way to the bank. And to a $3.2 million home-buying spree. And to an early retirement.
Not everyone is laughing, though. Take Rashad Turner, for example. As the founder of BLM’s St. Paul, Minnesota, chapter, he was right there at ground zero during last year’s George Floyd riots, and he witnessed the organization’s meteoric rise from its humble pre-Floyd beginnings to its lofty perch atop White Guilt Mountain. But he quit the organization after 18 months, when he saw that its priorities were out of whack with black empowerment and advancement.
“I believed the organization stood for exactly what the name implies,” he said in a brief video. “Black lives do matter. However, after a year on the inside, I learned they had little concern for rebuilding black families, and they cared even less about improving the quality of education for students in Minneapolis.”
If there’s one lesson to be learned about BLM, Turner just articulated it. The organization is ardently anti-family, and thus ardently pro-poverty and pro-crime. Before BLM deleted its own “What We Believe” page, this was how the group put it:
We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.
This hostility toward the family structure, coupled with BLM’s subservience to the teachers unions, proved too much for him. “I was an insider in Black Lives Matter,” he says, “and I learned the ugly truth — the moratorium on charter schools does not support rebuilding the black family. But it does create barriers to a better education for black children.”
Turner’s story is moving and inspirational, and it should be deeply empowering to all other Americans, black and non-black. Here he is, in his own words:

Back in January, we told you that the socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden administration was going to make it a goal that some people would be more equal than others. “The socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden administration’s obsession with race-based policies is built around a single troubling word,” we said, and that word is equity.
Now, equity isn’t such a bad thing in the financial world — ask anyone who takes advantage of the equity they’ve built up in their home. Merriam Webster’s first definition is good, too — “justice according to natural law or right; specifically: freedom from bias or favoritism.”
But leftists love to redefine words in order to push their agenda, and that often involves making words mean their exact opposite. Thus, “equity” becomes using bias and favoritism to benefit select “victim” groups and achieve “social justice” and “unity.” When it comes to government policy, such blatant choosing of winners and losers based on long-ago discrimination creates many more losers than winners. For the moment, however, a handful of those losers have snatched a victory from the jaws of defeat by taking their grievances to federal court.
In the initial case, Texas restaurant owner Philip Greer and other plaintiffs sought a temporary injunction against the distribution of COVID restaurant relief funds by the Small Business Administration. Buried in the fine print of the $28.6 billion in funding for eligible restaurant owners was a provision that a priority period of 21 days would be allotted to those the government deemed eligible as women, veterans, and certain minorities. Given the history of such programs, Greer feared being shut out. Judge Reed O'Connor of the Northern District of Texas agreed: “The SBA’s announcement of May 12, 2021, raises the prospect that the entire $28.6 billion that Congress appropriated will be depleted before applications submitted by white male non-veterans such as Mr. Greer are even eligible to be considered. Indeed, it makes it more than likely that the appropriated funds will be depleted.” The announcement revealed that 147,000 of those deemed eligible to cut in line had requested $29 billion in funding, meaning the well would indeed be dry for everyone else.
Meanwhile, a similar case played out in the Sixth Circuit, where a divided three-judge panel ruled that the socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden administration couldn’t show its equity scheme was necessary to achieve a compelling state interest. Restaurant owner Antonio Vitolo’s case was initially rejected by an scumbag/liar-nObama-appointed district judge but was successful upon an emergency appeal to the circuit court.
As the Wall Street Journal editorial board summarized in the wake of these cases, “This legal analysis is an arrow to the heart of much of the socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden Administration’s racially divisive agenda. It will, at a minimum, force the socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden lawyers to explain their justification for distributing racial spoils with far more specificity. Even if they do, these and similar cases may end up at the Supreme Court.”
Added Stephen Miller, who represented the Texas plaintiffs on behalf of his America First Legal firm, “This ruling is the first, but crucial, step towards ending government-sponsored racial discrimination. We are proud to have obtained this order for our courageous client at this initial stage, but we have a long way to go.” America First has also taken on a similar case involving “socially disadvantaged farmers and ranchers” who were made eligible for COVID relief while others deemed advantaged received none.
It’s yet another example of not letting a crisis go to waste for the socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden administration. In a normal economy, these race-baiting hucksters would only have so much leeway in giving the advantage to favored constituents, but add a few trillion dollars in government spending and we get reparations on steroids. While it’s good that those who desire true equality and leveling the playing field earned a couple victories in court, the unfortunate truth is that we’re going to be playing the legal version of whack-a-mole for at least the next three and a half years. ~The Patriot Post
A ‘Farmworker’ Didn’t Murder Mollie Tibbetts
First things first: Twenty-year-old University of Iowa college student Mollie Tibbetts wasn’t killed by a “farmworker” or a “farm laborer.” She was brutally murdered by an illegal immigrant.
The mainstream media tried mightily to soften the blow on behalf of the socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden administration, House and Senate Democrats, the ACLU, and other open-borders activists by ignoring the “illegal” aspect of 26-year-old Cristhian Bahena Rivera’s immigration status — as if they could somehow hide his heinous crime of stalking then repeatedly stabbing Tibbetts while she was out for a jog, and dumping her body in a remote cornfield on July 18, 2018.
So CNN, CBS, ABC, the Associated Press, the New York Times, the Washington Post, Yahoo, the Daily Beast, and a host of others all decided to call Bahena Rivera a “farmworker” or a “farm laborer” in their headlines, and burying his illegal immigrant status deep in the story — if they reported it at all.
“Farm worker found guilty of killing University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts,” went the CNN headline. “Farmworker Convicted of Fatally Stabbing Iowa College Student,” reported the New York Times.
More and more, we see these activist media organs resorting to what George Orwell called “political language” — language that is “designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable.” Replacing “illegal immigrant” with a benign word like “farmworker” is certainly an attempt to do that.
Nearly three years after he killed Tibbetts, Rivera was finally convicted on Friday of first-degree murder after a two-week trial in Davenport, Iowa. “Jurors reached their decision after deliberating for just over seven hours,” Fox News reports. “Bahena Rivera, who came to the U.S. illegally from Mexico as a teenager, will be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, which is a mandatory sentence upon conviction.”
We’d like to think we were writing this article for Mollie, but we aren’t. Neither she nor her family wanted to make an issue of her killer’s immigration status. It’s hard to imagine that kind of strength and decency amid such unspeakable pain.
So we’re writing this for the next Mollie, and the next, and the next. Because while President socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden’s immigration catastrophe could’ve been prevented, it can’t be undone. And our nation will be suffering its effects in perpetuity.
As Andrew Arthur writes at the Center for Immigration Studies, “The latest CBP statistics reveal Border Patrol has apprehended an increased number of aliens with criminal convictions this year. … In the first seven months of this fiscal year, Border Patrol has ‘encountered’ 5,861 aliens with criminal convictions, more than twice as many as in all of FY 2020 (2,438), and already more than 37 percent more than in all of FY 2019 (4,269).”

Immigration was certainly one of them. “We cannot allow all of these people to invade our Country,” he said in 2018. “When somebody comes in, we must immediately, with no Judges or Court Cases, bring them back from where they came. Our system is a mockery of good immigration policy and Law and Order.”

Telling the Truth Gets Teacher Placed on Leave
Byron Cross is a gym teacher at Leesburg Elementary School in Loudoun, Virginia. Sadly, Cross may have taught his last lesson at the school following his refusal to lie to children. Speaking before the Loudoun County school board last week, Cross stated that he would not “affirm that a biological boy can be a girl and vice versa,” because children suffering from gender dysphoria need to be helped, not lied to.
Cross was speaking in response to the school district’s policy mandating that public school staff use a student’s preferred pronouns and “allow gender-expansive and transgender students to participate in such activities in a manner consistent with the student’s gender identity.” In other words, deny reality.
“It’s not my intention to hurt anyone,” Cross insisted, “but there are certain truths that we must face when ready. We condemn school policies … [that] would damage children [and] defile the holy image of God.” He added, “I love all of my students, but I will never lie to them regardless of the consequences. I’m a teacher, but I serve God first, and I will not affirm that a biological boy can be a girl and vice versa, because it’s against my religion, it’s lying to a child, it’s abuse to a child, and it’s sinning against our God.”
In making his case, Cross also noted the recent CBS “60 Minutes” program in which several young people who had “de-transitioned” from their “transgender” identity expressed their deep regret for having engaged in such drastic life-altering actions in the first place — without even being challenged to question such feelings.
Soon after Cross made his declaration, he was placed on administrative leave. The school’s principal gave no reason, vaguely asserting, “This involves a personnel matter. I can offer no further information.”
Perhaps Cross’s leave is a complete coincidence, but we doubt it. The sick reality of our culture today is simple: Telling basic and easily observable truths is deemed so controversial as to be forbidden. Such a society cannot long survive because it is a society in which human flourishing will quickly erode, leading to human misery and despair. Cross is exactly correct — truth must be faced, because the avoidance of it will only make the challenge that much harder and more painful.
How many children will needlessly suffer because too many adults who knew better refused to stand for truth? We commend Cross for standing for what is right and true, no matter the consequence, which at this point looks to be his job.

In his Memorial Day remarks at Arlington Cemetery, President socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden warned the crowd, “Democracy itself is in peril. Here at home and around the world.”
I agree that free nations are facing growing threats around the world, but you would never know it by looking at socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s foreign policy. Our allies Japan, Australia, Taiwan, as well as many other nations are being threatened and bullied by communist China. Biden signals weakness in response.
The most vibrant free nation in the Middle East is Israel, but socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden is begging for a deal with Iran’s mullahs who regularly promise to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.
Ukraine’s young democracy is under severe pressure from Russian troops massed on its borders. But socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden gives the green light to a Russian gas pipeline that will make our European allies more dependent on Putin’s tender mercies.
socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s new budget makes massive increases in every government agency and program with two notable exceptions: the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security.
Do any of these polices make sense if socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden believes democracy and freedom are facing grave threats?
“Here At Home”
But what really got me thinking was the president telling us that democracy itself is in peril “here at home.” Many of us, perhaps all of us, would agree there is peril to our Constitutional Republic, but not for the reasons socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden probably had in mind.
He sees danger in places like Texas where they are trying to ensure the integrity of elections so that only legal votes are counted. On Saturday, socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden attacked the state for “targeting” Black and Brown voters. But confidence in ending fraud in our election is key to safeguarding our Republic.
Why Our Liberty Is In Peril
I offer these helpful examples to President socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden on why so many Americans do believe our freedom is in peril.
Our public schools that ought to be teaching American children to love their country are teaching our sons and daughters anti-American history along with Marxist-based critical race theory certain to increase racial hatred.
Our most important intelligence agencies and federal law enforcement, filled with brave men and women whose job it is to protect us, have been compromised by leftist partisans who have “weaponized” those agencies to spy on American citizens and harassed the Trump/Pence Administration for four years.
Religious liberty is under relentless attack. Churches were forced to close during the pandemic while rioters gathered by the thousands to loot and burn American cities. The full weight of the socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden/scumbag/liar-Harris Justice Department is being brought down on Christian ministries trying to force them to accept the demands of the LGBTQ fascists.
Freedom of speech is being attacked daily by a combination of “cancel culture” warriors, big tech oligarchs who do the bidding of the far left and “woke” corporate CEOs.
The American military is under relentless assault from the progressive left. Men and women who currently serve in the ranks and are conservative, super patriotic, pro-Trump, pro-life, etc. are now facing the prospect of their communications being monitored and their careers ended. The same Marxist “critical race theory” poison foisted on our children is now finding its way into the ranks of our warriors.
The degree of Chinese communist influence into key American institutions is impossible to accurately estimate. Politicians have been compromised, U.S. corporations parrot the Chinese line and lobby for more trade deals, university campuses have accepted hundreds of millions of dollars of Chinese communist’s money, professors at major universities are being indicted for giving China U.S. technology and research… The examples go on and on.
So, yes, President socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden, clearly American liberty and our national security are in grave peril and you are clueless or complicit in what threatens us.
Masks At Your School
If your school continues to require your child, in these closing weeks of the school year, to wear a useless mask, I have a simple solution. Get the Christian parents together and send your children to school with masks that simply say, “I love Jesus.” It’s likely the mask mandate would disappear in a minute. ~The Patriot Post
