In 1995, a 13-year-old Somali refugee arrived in the greatest country in the world, where she and her family were granted asylum. scumbag/worthless-Ilhan Abdullahi Omar was born in Mogadishu, Somalia, and after fleeing to Kenya to escape the bloody tribal wars in her homeland, she settled in Minneapolis. In addition to being the epicenter of the “systemic racism” lie, Minneapolis has a large Islamic population, which made it the terrorist-recruiting capital of the U.S..
It is from this cesspool of hatred that scumbag/worthless-Omar was elected to the U.S. House in 2018, where she became a rising star of the uber-leftist “Squad” — four Marxists leading the socialist surge in the Democrat Party.
Over the last two years she has been the subject of an FBI investigation for reportedly marrying her brother as cover for his illegal immigration, as well as for paying off her former “campaign consultant” to keep their affair quiet.
In addition to her inability to call out the Islamic terrorists who perpetrated the 9/11 attack (“some people did something”), she is leading the chorus of Jew haters in Congress. But until this week, she has received little rebuke for her history of anti-Semitic comments.
In her capacity as House Whip of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, and disgracefully, as a member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, earlier this week, scumbag/worthless-Omar declared in a social media post, “We must have the same level of accountability and justice for all victims of crimes against humanity. We have seen unthinkable atrocities committed by the U.S., Hamas, Israel, Afghanistan, and the Taliban.” That comment was directed at Secretary of State Antony Blinken ahead of socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden’s European confab with G7 leaders.
That prompted a group of Jewish House members to rebut: “Equating the United States and Israel to Hamas and the Taliban is as offensive as it is misguided. Ignoring the differences between democracies governed by the rule of law and contemptible organizations that engage in terrorism at best discredits one’s intended argument and at worst reflects deep-seated prejudice. The United States and Israel are imperfect and, like all democracies, at times deserving of critique, but false equivalencies give cover to terrorist groups. We urge Congresswoman scumbag/worthless-Omar to clarify her words placing the US and Israel in the same category as Hamas and the Taliban.”
The Squad’s other Jew haters immediately came to scumbag/worthless-Omar’s defense. Leftist Sandy Cortez (D-NY) came to her squad mate’s assistance: “Pretty sick and tired of the constant vilification, intentional mischaracterization, and public targeting of Rep. scumbag/worthless-Ilhan Omar coming from our caucus. They have no concept for the danger they put her in by … fueling targeted news cycles around her.” Cori Bush (D-MO) protested: “I’m not surprised when Republicans attack Black women for standing up for human rights. But when it’s Democrats, it’s especially hurtful. We’re your colleagues. Talk to us directly. Enough with the anti-Blackness and Islamophobia.” scumbag/worthless-Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) piled on: “I am tired of colleagues (both D+R) demonizing @IlhanMN. Their obsession with policing her is sick. She has the courage to call out human rights abuses no matter who is responsible.”
Right.
For her part, scumbag/liar-Pelosi issued a mild rebuke: “Drawing false equivalencies between democracies like the US and Israel and groups that engage in terrorism like Hamas and the Taliban foments prejudice and undermines progress toward a future of peace and security for all.” But scumbag/liar-Pelosi should have long ago removed scumbag/worthless-Omar from any congressional committee standing, as she did with Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) — for much less egregious offenses.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said, "scumbag/worthless-Omar’s anti-Semitic and anti-American comments are abhorrent.” He added, “Speaker scumbag/liar-Pelosi’s continued failure to address the issues in her caucus sends a message to the world that Democrats are tolerant of anti-Semitism and sympathizing with terrorists. It’s time for the speaker to act.” Jewish Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) declared, “scumbag/worthless-Ilhan Omar must be removed from the House Foreign Affairs Committee. She should have never been appointed to this Committee in the first place.”
scumbag/worthless-Omar defiantly responded, “It’s shameful for colleagues who call me when they need my support to now put out a statement asking for ‘clarification’ and not just call. The Islamophobic tropes in this statement are offensive. The constant harassment and silencing from the signers of this letter is unbearable.” She later attempted a clarification: “I was in no way equating terrorist organizations with democratic countries with well-established judicial systems.”
No, what is “shameful” is that Democrats would tolerate Jew-hating Islamists among their ranks, and elevate them to House leadership roles.
To that end, scumbag/liar-Pelosi and House Demos accepted scumbag/worthless-Omar’s “clarification” as sufficient: “We welcome the clarification by Congresswoman scumbag/worthless-Omar that there is no moral equivalency between the U.S. and Israel and Hamas and the Taliban.” ~The Patriot Post
Can Trump Flip Joe Manchin and the Senate?
We wonder whether Joe Manchin plays golf. If he does, Donald Trump should have the West Virginia Democrat down to Mar-a-Lago for the weekend and suggest that he switch parties. Doing so would, of course, flip the 50-50 Senate from Democrat control to Republican, and it would put a merciful end to what’s left of socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden’s reckless, repulsive, hard-left agenda.
Columnist Mark Thiessen seems to think it might take just a phone call. “It is in Manchin’s interest to switch parties,” he writes. “He wants bipartisanship, but right now, he is under unrelenting pressure from Democrats to vote for their radical agenda. How many times has Manchin been asked if he is really, absolutely, 100 percent sure he would never vote to eliminate the filibuster? As a Republican, he would never be asked that question again.”
What’s more, Manchin wouldn’t have to suffer the many “progressive” fools of his party. A recent Politico headline blared, “The left hates Joe Manchin. His fellow Senate Dems are staying quiet.”
Why would anyone want to be part of an organization whose members hate him? “Joe Manchin is sparking outright fury from liberals,” the Politico piece continues, “with some Black Democrats invoking Jim Crow laws and Mitch McConnell as they blast the West Virginians resistance to a sweeping elections bill.”
That “sweeping elections bill,” by the way, is HR 1, the deceitfully dubbed “For the People Act” — the bill that would systematize electoral fraud, the bill that Texas Senator Ted Cruz called “the single most dangerous piece of legislation we’ve seen in decades.”
We’ve written and warned extensively about HR 1, and we couldn’t agree more with Cruz. And Manchin, to his credit, stood firm when it counted, sticking a fork into the Democrats’ voter suppression scheme. Manchin vowed to vote against it, and he said as much in an op-ed to his constituents back home. As our Thomas Gallatin reported recently, “[Manchin] showed that he’s more concerned about being beholden to his constituents than to advancing his party’s power plays.”
Good for Joe. And for his failure to toe the party line, Former ESPN anchor and leftist race-baiter Jemele Hill ripped into him via social media: “Record number of black voters show up to save this democracy, only for white supremacy to be upheld by a cowardly, power-hungry white dude. Sen. Joe Manchin is a clown.”
New York’s Mondaire Jones was every bit as nasty, tweeting that Manchin’s op-ed “might as well be titled, ‘Why I’ll vote to preserve Jim Crow.’”
Again, why would Manchin want to put up with this? And what better way to extend a big ol’ middle finger to Hill and her ilk than by switching parties?
If Manchin seems reluctant to do so, Trump might remind him that he serves the people of West Virginia, which went a whopping +39 for Trump in 2020. Manchin is a popular former governor, but he doesn’t have numbers like that — not even close. In fact, as our Mark Alexander noted in March, “Manchin was reelected to the Senate by a narrow three-point margin, winning a plurality of the vote by 49.57% because of a Libertarian spoiler who received 4.17%. Notably that year, no other West Virginia Demo congressional candidate came within 10 points of winning, and Democrats running for state seats were defeated by even larger margins.”
Suffice it to say: Manchin, as a Democrat, is the oddest duck in the United States Senate. And if he switches, he’d be lauded back home in the Mountain State, he’d likely get his choice of committee assignments from Minority Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, and he’d be able to work for genuine bipartisan legislation in the areas he’s most passionate about, such as energy and real (as opposed to fake) infrastructure.
So, what’s keeping him? Thiessen has a theory:
As a Democrat, he is assured his party’s Senate nomination. But if he becomes a Republican, he could face a primary challenger angry over his votes to convict Trump in his impeachment trials. Trump has made clear his intention to exact vengeance on any senator who voted for his removal. So, if Manchin defects, he faces the real prospect that Trump could support his primary opponent and deny him the nomination. … Trump could alleviate that concern with a single phone call. He could tell Manchin that if he switches parties and hands Senate control to the GOP, all will be forgiven — Trump would oppose any primary challengers and campaign enthusiastically for Manchin.

Inflation Is a Middle Class Tax Hike
It seems like just last month that we were expressing concern over rising inflation. Oh, right — it was. The Consumer Price Index (CP) jumped 4.2% in April. May said, “Hold my beer,” and saw a spike of 5% year over year.
CNBC crunches the numbers and right up top emphasizes the bad news:

The 3.8% rise in the core inflation rate, which excludes food and energy prices, was the sharpest increase in nearly three decades.
There’s not much sugar coating here — the economic news is not good. Supply chains are broken. Companies can’t find enough workers, and the ones they can find are demanding higher wages. Inflated prices are largely a symptom of these underlying ailments.
Heather Boushey, a member of the White House Counsel of Economic Advisors, shrugged off the report as good news: “Today’s data on inflation is the latest indicator that things are both moving in the right direction and that we have supply-chain hiccups.”
“Hiccups”? We realize that having to wait a few months for a recliner or a bicycle is truly a First World Problem. But this is also not the America socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden promised us, and it’s a far cry from the roaring American economy Donald Trump was fueling before the pandemic.
The Federal Reserve’s response? Apathy. “Though the inflation readings are well above anything seen since the 2008-09 financial crisis, the Federal Reserve has been largely dismissive of the numbers,” says CNBC. “Central bank officials believe the current rise is due to temporary factors that will abate as the year goes on and look higher because of comparisons to the year-ago period, when much of the economic activity remained restricted due to pandemic precautions.”
There is some truth to that, but it’s far from the full picture. As it turns out, you cannot shut down much of the economy and then have the government flood the economy with $6 trillion in “magic money” and not have prices increase because of the havoc that wreaks on supply and demand.
The same experts who totally underestimated the inflation rate are telling us this is no big deal and prices will recede before long. That’s no doubt true of some things like lumber and houses, but it’s certainly not guaranteed, and it’s perhaps even unlikely for most goods and services. Higher prices will be the new floor.
“Chipotle executives announced this week the fast-casual chain will be raising prices by about 4 percent to offset some of the costs of the tighter labor market. Procter & Gamble warned customers earlier this year to expect mid- to high-single-digit percentage point price increases on staples like diapers and tampons,” reports The Dispatch. In fact, “The May 2021 NFIB Small Business Economic Trends survey found 48 percent of small businesses reported raising their prices, compared with just 5 percent that reported lowering them.”
Given that generous unemployment benefits have raised expectations for wages — just about at Democrats’ preferred $15 an hour, as it so happens — companies are going to be paying more for labor over the long term. And the supply disruptions show no sign of abating, which only exacerbates price problems.
That’s a middle class tax hike if we ever saw one.
But there’s also the national picture, which political analyst Kevin Williamson elucidates:
The worrisome, if not quite worst-case, scenario is this: We start to suffer genuinely problematic inflation, the Fed jacks up interest rates to stabilize prices, the cost of borrowing for the U.S. government goes up substantially, the cost of financing the debt rises from 8 percent of the budget to 12 percent of the budget and then appears set to keep on marching up from there, the economy goes into recession, and Washington has a choice — it can cut back spending during a recession, thereby almost certainly deepening that recession, or it can go even more deeply into debt at a time when the cost of debt service already is climbing, thereby making both the total debt and the cost of financing it that much worse.

The Global Supply Chain Broke — What Happened?
If you’re like most people, something doesn’t seem right in the marketplace.
Pre-COVID, Americans became so accustomed to having shelves fully stocked that today’s empty store aisles are a bit unsettling.
From furniture to bikes to lumber, we can’t get the products we want. If we do manage to find a store with stock, it’s just about impossible to find employees to answer questions or load up our cars. Employers simply can’t find enough workers. It’s not that there aren’t people. It’s just that the federal government is paying them to not become workers.
One of the factors that made products so plentiful in recent years is known as “just in time” inventory, developed by Toyota in the 1970s. The idea was to limit inventory overhead by having parts arrive “just in time” when they were needed. Impressed by Toyota’s efficiency and profits, other companies jumped on board and implemented the same inventory system.
When a certain product was running low, more was delivered to meet the demand. This prevented companies from buying too much of what they didn’t need or having too much stock taking up floor space, all of which costs money.
In reality, it only seemed that stores had large surpluses because products that customers demanded were always there to be purchased.
Over time, companies and consumers came to enjoy the benefits of the lean and cheap just-in-time system, but events from floods to earthquakes to COVID-19 interrupted the supply chain and left us where we are today — paying far higher prices for fewer products.
The only problem is that just-in-time only works when everything’s running smoothly, and right now there are other factors revealing the flaws of just-in-time, including that some companies have embraced the inventory system without understanding what made it work so well for others. For one, a company can’t rely on one source or one country to supply all of its needs. Otherwise, a natural disaster can break the supply chain.
Now that we’re all experiencing the painful result of a system that can’t work in all situations, it’ll be interesting to see whether or not consumers are willing to still pay higher prices if it means having goods on the shelves whenever we want them.
But the imperfect just-in-time approach isn’t the only reason for product shortages.
Take microchips. In today’s technological world, microchips once produced for cars and computers are now critical components in many different products. As a result, car companies bought up as many as they could get their hands on.
CNBC reports, “The severity of the global chip shortage has gone up a notch over the last few weeks and it’s now looking as though millions of people will be impacted. As technology has advanced, semiconductor chips have spread from computers and cars to toothbrushes and tumble dryers — they now lurk beneath the hood of a surprising number of products.” And according to The Daily Wire, this led to “Ford taking over 346,000 vehicles out of production, while General Motors has reduced its production total by over 277,000.”
To address concerns over the lack of products and critical components such as microchips, the Biden administration has created a task force to identify ways to mitigate supply chain issues currently impacting our economy.
But again, getting products back on the shelves isn’t going to solve the problem of finding workers, many of whom are making more staying at home by cashing unemployment and stimulus checks. Even some Democrat lawmakers are beginning to put pressure on the Biden administration to think twice about expanding benefits in order to get people back to work. Biden himself indicated that September might be a good time to let those benefits expire.
To some degree, we’ve been living in a false reality with access to cheap and plentiful products, but maybe the current shock to our system will inspire consumers and companies to think more critically about the long-term stability of the marketplace instead of adopting a one-system-fits-all approach to supply and demand.

How to Counter the Left’s Historical Revisionism
The Left’s current strategy to defeat the United States and its sacred institutions relies on indoctrinating American school children by inserting polluted, racist, anti-American thought processes into school curricula while simultaneously removing the religious and moral underpinnings that have been part and parcel of public education since the nation’s founding. Leftists’ victory is achieved by raising an entire generation of children totally divorced from the realities of American history and beholden to the fictional dogma of the socialists.
And, unfortunately, it’s working.
The first salvo in this fight was the adoption of the politically and racially charged 1619 Project by public schools across the country. President Donald Trump countered with the 1776 Commission, which was promptly disbanded by President socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden the day he took office. socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden, of course, then doubled down for his leftist overlords and vowed to push Critical Race Theory not only on federal employees and our military, but also on our teachers and school children as well.
Thankfully, the 1776 Commission continues its work despite the lack of a federal charter. Matthew Spalding, noted historian and executive director of the 1776 Commission, recently explained that the Commission is shifting its focus to the state and local level.
“The federal government has no role in curriculum, zero, no constitutional power, no authority. They can’t do it by using money to get around that fact, which is what [socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden] is trying to do on Critical Race Theory,” said Spalding. “It’s the authority of the state and the state legislature, especially, that control curriculum. And then beyond that, it really is a matter of school boards, schools, and parents.”
Spalding’s comments on CRT and the indoctrination of American school children are in the same vein as those made recently by former Attorney General William Barr in accepting the Edwin Meese III Award for Originalism and Religious Liberty from the Alliance Defending Freedom.
Barr noted that the greatest threat to religious freedom in America today is the militant and hyper-active secularist climate of the public education system. For nearly two centuries since America’s founding, public education included foundational Judeo-Christian values. This helped instill moral character — and the deeper reason for it — in America’s youth as well as establish a sense of common identity and civic and cultural bonds.
After the 1970s, however, things started going off the rails. “This is when the Left embarked on a relentless campaign of secularization intent on driving every vestige of traditional religion from the public square,” explained Barr. “Public schools quickly became the central battleground. This was the period where it was thought you could completely isolate education from religion. The rich Judeo-Christian tradition was replaced with trite talk of liberal values — be a good person, be caring. But there was no underpinning for these values.”
Barr went on to point out that the Left is no longer even about secularization in the sense of removing religion from public life, but about inserting its own religion and belief system that is fundamentally antithetical to traditional God-centered religion. “[The Left] has its notion of original sin, salvation, penance, its clergy, its dogmas, its sensitivity to any whiff of heresy, even its burning at the stake.”
As Barr and Spalding point out, the Left is not interested in adding an alternative viewpoint to American discourse. It seeks to quash any viewpoint outside its own. And it has launched a full-on attack against our society by trying to emphasize and exploit our differences, by rejecting natural law so that the Left itself can become our new religion.
Barr said it best. “Confronting this issue is one of the most urgent tasks for concerned legislators, lawyers, and organizations such as [Alliance Defending Freedom]. To save religious liberty, we must save our families and their children from the extreme secular-progressivism that pervades our current system of public schools.”
Kudos to men and women like Barr, organizations like the Alliance Defending Freedom, and the 1776 Commission itself for doing just that. ~The Patriot Post
Backlash Against CRT Is Growing
It’s becoming clear that as more parents learn about Critical Race Theory and find out that it’s being taught to their children in local schools they are becoming incensed. And they’re fighting back.
The most recent and maybe the most significant example comes from Loudoun County, Virginia, where a judge ordered an elementary gym teacher, Tanner Cross, reinstated to his position after the school board suspended him for daring to criticize their proposed “transgender” policy. Loudoun County parents have now woken up to this “woke” indoctrination being passed off as education and are boldly speaking out against it.
During the Loudoun County school board’s most recent meeting this week, a Chinese woman who had suffered through Mao Tse-Tung’s Communist dictatorship addressed the board. She pointedly noted that CRT was “very familiar” and that “the only difference is they used class instead of race.” She concluded, “This is, indeed, the American version of the Chinese Cultural Revolution. The Critical Race Theory has its roots in cultural Marxism. It should have no place in our schools.”
But as previously referenced, Loudoun County is not the only place where individuals are pushing back against CRT indoctrination in schools. An English teacher in Dwight-Englewood School, a top New Jersey prep school, tendered her resignation on the grounds that the school was creating a “hostile culture of conformity and fear” because of its embrace of CRT. In her resignation letter to the school, she wrote, “The school’s ideology requires students to see themselves not as individuals, but as representatives of a group, forcing them to adopt the status of privilege or victimhood. As a result, students arrive in my classroom accepting this theory as fact. People born with less melanin in their skin are oppressors, and people born with more melanin in their skin are oppressed. Men are oppressors, women are oppressed, and so on. This is the dominant and divisive ideology that is guiding our adolescent students.”
Columbia University professor of linguistics John McWhorter, who is a black man, has long decried Left's “anti-racism,” which is based on CRT, saying it has all the earmarkings of a religious cult. This past Wednesday, McWhorter encouraged parents to pull their children out of Dwight-Englewood School if they are “truly antiracist.” This, he argued, is the only course of action that “will arrest these misguided Elect parishioners from their quest to forge a new reality for us all.”
Following the demands of parents, several states have begun passing legislation banning the indoctrination of CRT in public schools, with Iowa becoming the latest to do so, joining Idaho, Oklahoma, and Tennessee. Florida’s State Board of Education just did likewise. In signing her state’s bill this week, Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds stated, “Critical Race Theory is about labels and stereotypes, not education. It teaches kids that we should judge others based on race, gender or sexual identity, rather than the content of someone’s character. I am proud to have worked with the legislature to promote learning, not discriminatory indoctrination.”
It is encouraging to see more people waking up to and pushing back against the dangerously toxic, divisive, and racist CRT ideology. Hopefully this is just the beginning of a rapidly growing movement that spreads across America. ~The Patriot Post
Free Dope for a Dose, Man!
The Dope in Chief, ahead of his European “shame America” tour this week, announced he was bringing candy. socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden says he is going to buy a HALF BILLION doses of Pfizer’s ChiCom Virus vaccine to give away to other countries.
He outlined his plan in Thursday’s G-7 leaders confab, declaring: “The United States is providing these half billion doses with no strings attached. No strings attached. Our vaccine donations don’t include pressure for favors, or potential concessions.”
The Beltway media echo chamber is so inbred that even The Washington Times headlined the news, “socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden to purchase 500M Pfizer shots” — as if Slow socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe himself was going to pay the at least $3.5 billion bill. Make no mistake, YOU are buying it for Joe to use as party favors, “no strings attached.”
But will the recipients take it?
Recall that in socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s (not ready for) primetime address in March, when launching his goal of 70% vaccinated by Independence Day, he declared: “We will issue guidance on what you can and cannot do when fully vaccinated. If we do all this, if we do our part, if we do this together, by July the 4th, there’s a good chance you, your families, and friends will be able to get together in your backyard or in your neighborhood and have a cookout and a barbecue and celebrate Independence Day. That doesn’t mean large events with lots of people together, but it does mean small groups will be able to get together.”
It was no small irony that socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden laughably used our nation’s July 4th Independence Day observance of the codification of American Liberty to let us know he will be letting us know what we “can and cannot do.” I’ll tell you where you can put that advice, Joe.
As it stands, only about half of American adults have elected to receive the vaccination. And in May, even socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s lead agency heads admitted their numbers were no better. When asked how many of their staff have been vaccinated, according to the non compos mentis grand wizard of the planet corona, Tony Fauci, “I’m not 100% sure, Senator, but I think it’s probably a little bit more than half; probably around 60%.”
Dr. Peter Marks, director of the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research at FDA, said, “I can’t tell you the exact number, but it’s probably in the same range.” And Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control, estimated something above 50%, adding, “We’re encouraging our employees to get vaccinated … but as you understand, the federal government is not requiring it, so we do not know.”
To jumpstart the rates of vaccinations, my colleague Robin Smith noted this week that states are offering bribes: “How do socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden and his state minions plan to increase these numbers? Incentives. He praised the state of Ohio for its ”Vax-A-Million“ lottery — get vaccinated and you could win one of five $1 million drawings. And then there is Anheuser-Busch’s ”Let’s Grab a Beer“ promo promising free beer – if America reaches Biden’s 70% mark of shots in the arms by July 4th, the King of Beers "will buy America’s next round” to celebrate. Other states and businesses are offering similar incentives as vaccination rates fall off.“
Enter the Demos in Washington state, who are implementing a ”joints for jabs“ plan authorizing their state’s 500 marijuana dispensaries to give away a free pre-rolled joint to those who get their shots at the dispensaries. They should call it the "dope-a-dose” plan. Vaccinations are dope dispensaries, what could go wrong, man!

No matter how mentally diminished President socialist/ scumbag/liar-Joe Biden is, you have to be horrified by who waits in the wings should he leave office before the expiration of his term.

It is like making a colicky infant the goalie of a professional hockey team. If socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden were more alert, I would suspect it was his way of seeking revenge against Harris and those who foisted her on to his presidential ticket.
scumbag/liar-Harris has neither a clue nor a rudder on this critically important issue, which by any fair measure, now must be considered a crisis. She is a dedicated progressive, and progressives are flagrantly open borders-oriented. But even more, she is a political opportunist and will say anything to salvage her hemorrhaging reputation.
Thus, after all the root-causes rhetoric and the castigation of anyone who properly advocates even a modest level of border enforcement, she told migrants during a press conference Monday, “Don’t come here.” “As one of our priorities, we will discourage illegal migration,” she said. “And I believe if you come to our border, you will be turned back. Do not come. Do not come,” she continued. “The United States will continue to enforce our laws and secure our border.”
Perhaps we should be grateful for the whiplash if it means we’ll begin to see a saner border policy, but how can we possibly rely on the White House to enforce the border when it’s signaled in every imaginable way that it is ideologically opposed to protecting our sovereignty?
She might have thought she was buying herself time against growing public concern over the border, but by mouthing those words, she placed herself directly in the path of the leftist mobs who control her party’s power center. Following her comments, the reliably bizarre Rep. socialist/commie/liar-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said it was “disappointing to see.” “First, seeking asylum at any US border is a 100% legal method of arrival,” she tweeted. “Second, the US spent decades contributing to regime change and destabilization in Latin America. We can’t help set someone’s house on fire and then blame them for fleeing.” Who needs foreign enemies when domestic malcontents are in the highest levels of office here doing their bidding?
As much grief as scumbag/liar-Harris unwittingly brought on herself with her comments, she wasn’t finished sabotaging herself. After the inevitable savageness that ensued, she feebly tried to talk her way out of her problems in an NBC News interview on Tuesday with Lester Holt, who asked her if she had plans to visit the border.
“We are going to the border; we’ve been to the border,” scumbag/liar-Harris dishonestly replied. Uncharacteristically, Holt momentarily deviated from the usual mainstream media Democrat-protector role and reminded her she hadn’t been to the border. scumbag/liar-Harris snarkily replied through cackling lips, “And I haven’t been to Europe.”
It was amusing to watch White House Press Secretary liar-Jen Psaki scramble to rehabilitate scumbag/liar-Harris from her epic blunder. “What the vice president was simply conveying was that there’s more to be done, that we don’t have these systems in place yet. It’s still a dangerous journey as we’ve said many times from here and from many forums before. And we need more time to get the work done to ensure that asylum processing is where it should be.” Translation: “What scumbag/liar-Harris meant was that migrants should cooperate with the socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden administration long enough to allow us to manage this public relations disaster over our bungling of the border, and once enough time has passed, we’ll provide not only airplanes to transport illegals to sanctuary locations in the United States but free limo rides as well.”
scumbag/liar-Harris now views demands that she visit the border as “political games” because her real job is to address the root causes of migration. That’s rich coming from the second highest in command of a party that made a cottage industry of exploiting photo ops at the border during the Trump administration. As for root causes, she could save herself a lot of time by confessing that she and Biden invited this disaster by sending an unmistakable message that their administration would not enforce the southern border.
Poverty and tyranny and their consequences in Central America’s Northern Triangle are not the root causes of the current flooding of our borders, but they are among the root causes of why so many people there and elsewhere around the world would love to come to America. So maybe the best course for this leftist administration is to keep implementing policies that will lead America into socialism, bankruptcy, chaos and tyranny, thereby discouraging migrants from choosing to come here. I say this tongue in cheek, but not entirely.
But scumbag/liar-Harris’ focus on root causes is problematic beyond just being wrongheaded and counterproductive. It inspires her to advocate the ubiquitous Democrat solution for all problems: Throw money at it. In addition to other federal aid to these poor countries, she wants U.S. taxpayers to donate $130 million to labor movement efforts in Mexico. Even if this weren’t just a cynical sop to labor unions everywhere, the very idea that we can bring entire nations out of poverty by throwing fish at them instead of teaching them to fish is painfully delusional.
I agree with Harris about one thing. Her physically going to the border will solve nothing, especially since she is ideologically or ethically blinded to the real causes of this crisis. One can only hope that enough Americans are catching on to this miserable display of incompetence at every corner of the White House to make a difference in the midterm elections. ~The Patriot Post
