Trump Delivers Vaccines, socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden Claims Credit
If you watched President socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden’s first primetime address last night, you should be struck by three things: COVID, not Democrat overreaction to it, is to blame for a missing year of family and social gatherings and millions of lost jobs. socialist/scumbag/ liar-Joe Biden, not Donald Trump, gets credit for the vaccine and the path back to normal. And someone gave the 78-year-old socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden an adrenaline shot so he could stand up for 24 minutes and semi-coherently read the dishonest script his handlers wrote for him.
Unfortunately, Scranton socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe has a way of coming across as a down-home average guy, so his lies and narcissism are harder to detect unless you know the full background that his Leftmedia super PAC won’t tell you. He will have fooled millions of Americans last night with his disingenuous pleas for “unity” and doing things “together” — a word he used 13 times.
But all he did was take credit from the previous administration rather than give it where it’s due, while jabbing his predecessor and slamming people for what he’s previously called “Neanderthal thinking” for daring to disagree with the “science.” Real science, contrary to Democrat dogma, is a process of discovery, not a policy conclusion.
socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden used the anniversary of the World Health Organization’s declaration of a pandemic as the occasion for his speech. Yet it’s noteworthy that he did not mention the WHO or China at all in his remarks. There’s a good reason for that. Yesterday may have been the anniversary of the WHO declaration, but it was about three months after Beijing’s puppets knew what the ChiComs had unleashed on the world. Of course socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden won’t say that.
Besides, recall that just ahead of the election, senior socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden adviser Anita Dunn, who previously declared that Red Chinese dictator Mao Zedong was among her two “favorite political philosophers” on par with Mother Teresa, also said that “COVID is the best thing that ever happened to [socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden]” in his campaign to defeat Trump. Apparently he agrees.
socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden also timed his signing of the Orwellian “American Rescue Plan Act” to come just before his address. We’ve covered this $1.9 trillion boondoggle of Democrat constituency giveaways enough that we won’t rehash it here, but suffice it to say, “rescue” is not part of the Democrats’ plan.
Back to the vaccines, socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden lied through his pearly whites. “Two months ago,” he asserted, “this country didn’t have nearly enough vaccine supply to vaccinate all or near all of the American public. But soon we will.” This isn’t so much factually wrong as it is false through implication. His point, of course, is that his predecessor left him a mess, which is something socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden and his team have been regularly repeating.
“Now, because of all the work we’ve done,” socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden said (emphasis added), “we’ll have enough vaccine supply for all adults in America by the end of May.”
“When I took office 50 days ago,” the president continued, “only 8% of Americans after months, only 8% of those over the age of 65 had gotten their first vaccination. Today, that number is 65%. Just 14% of Americans over the age of 75, 50 days ago, had gotten their first shot. Today, that number is well over 70%.”
He added, “Tonight, I’m announcing that I will direct all states, tribes, and territories to make all adults — people 18 and over — eligible to be vaccinated no later than May 1.”
For Joe, this success is practically an accident of chronology, though it’s also the product of the Democrats’ concerted effort to exploit COVID for electoral victory last November. How long did it take to develop a brand new vaccine to a novel virus? Astoundingly, just a few months. Even under the best of circumstances, it then takes time to manufacture and distribute those vaccines.
The truth is that the stunning success of Operation Warp Speed is thanks to Trump’s leadership, not socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden’s. It’s thanks to the ingenuity of American scientific research and development, not political promises. Trump set the plan in motion, leaving socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden to merely take the baton and keep running.
As socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden’s former boss once said, “You didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”
That Mr. Unity™ couldn’t be magnanimous enough to give even a little bit of credit to his predecessor is a testament to his true politically divisive agenda. His dishonesty also undermines his own pleas that Americans “listen to … trusted voices” on the vaccine. He says, “I know they’re safe,” but he just lied about their origin.
Then again, as the Washington Examiner’s Becket Adams quips, “If there’s one thing President socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden loves, it’s passing off somebody else’s work as his own.”
On a final note, socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden disgracefully used Independence Day as his goal for only slightly letting up on the fearmongering and marking “our independence from this virus.”
“If we do all this, if we do our part, if we do this together, by July the 4th, there’s a good chance you, your families, and friends will be able to get together in your backyard or in your neighborhood and have a cookout and a barbecue and celebrate Independence Day,” socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden said before cautioning, “That doesn’t mean large events with lots of people together, but it does mean small groups will be able to get together.”
Gee thanks, socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe. Small gatherings outside in four months. How gracious of you.
Moreover, it came with a mob-style threat: “If we don’t stay vigilant and the conditions change, then we may have to reinstate restrictions to get back on track. Please, we don’t want to do that again.” Nice economy you’ve got there; shame if something happened to it.
Of course, if socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden followed the science on herd immunity, he’d be even more generous far sooner and lay off the intimidation tactics. Or maybe he’d even acknowledge that millions of Americans have already been doing these activities and more for months. But we’re probably just Neanderthals for pointing that out. ~The Patriot Post

The Devastating Price of Ineffective Lockdowns
The waxy automaton socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden read a prepared national address last night on the one-year anniversary of the ChiCom World Health Organization’s declaration of the ChiCom Virus pandemic. His handlers chose this date for socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden to insist he saved the nation, despite the fact that WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus was conspiring with Red China dictator Xi Jinping to conceal the outbreak — until China was in a position to maximize the damage to the U.S. economy.
By extension, of course, China maximized the devastation not just to American lives and livelihoods but to those of other nations.
Last year, we published a link to the Great Barrington Declaration, a prophetic condemnation of the current lockdown strategies being mandated by many U.S. state governors and leaders around the world. The authors, infectious disease epidemiologists and scientists, noted, “Current lockdown policies are producing devastating effects on short and long-term public health.”
The Declaration concluded: “Those who are not vulnerable should immediately be allowed to resume life as normal. Simple hygiene measures, such as hand washing and staying home when sick should be practiced by everyone to reduce the herd immunity threshold. Schools and universities should be open for in-person teaching. Extracurricular activities, such as sports, should be resumed. Young low-risk adults should work normally, rather than from home. Restaurants and other businesses should open. Arts, music, sport and other cultural activities should resume. People who are more at risk may participate if they wish, while society as a whole enjoys the protection conferred upon the vulnerable by those who have built up herd immunity.”
Prophetic indeed — and the Declaration has been signed by 13,000 medical and health scientists and more than 41,000 healthcare practitioners.
One of the principal authors of that study, Stanford University Medical School professor Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, recently noted the lockdowns are the “biggest public health mistake we’ve ever made. … The harm to people is catastrophic.”
He reiterated this week: “Lockdowns are the single worst public health mistake in the last 100 years. We will be counting the catastrophic health and psychological harms, imposed on nearly every poor person on the face of the earth, for a generation. At the same time, they have not served to control the epidemic in the places where they have been most vigorously imposed. In the US, they have — at best — protected the ‘non-essential’ class from COVID, while exposing the essential working class to the disease. The lockdowns are trickle down epidemiology.”

Dems Strategize to Eliminate Senate Filibuster
Last week, House Democrats passed, on a strict party-line vote, HR 1, the radical election “reforming” legislation they dubiously named the “For the People Act.” Our Douglas Andrews said it “couldn’t be any more dangerous to the notion of free and fair elections,” and veteran analyst John Fund called it “the worst piece of legislation I have ever seen in my 40 years reporting from Washington.”
That sentiment certainly isn’t wrong, but this isn’t the only hyper-partisan and extreme bill Democrats have put forward in recent memory. In reality, House Democrats, guided by Speaker scumbag/liar-Nancy Pelosi, have strategically thrown any semblance of bipartisanship out the window in order to press hard on advancing their radical agenda. Note the number of recent partisan bills passed by the House on strict party-lines, which, we’d note, means by the narrowest majority since the 1940s. Those bills include such “unifying” things as the “Equality Act” and the $1.9 trillion boondoggle known as the “American Rescue Plan Act” signed by socialist/ scumbag/liar-Joe Biden yesterday, as well as two recent “gun control” measures, one of which Congressman Chip Roy (R-TX) says would create “a gun registry to track guns of the American people,” just to name a few.
There is a strategy behind the House Democrats’ extreme partisanship — elimination of the Senate filibuster. As The Washington Times reports, “House Democrats are inundating the Senate with a series of partisan bills on issues such as expanding mail-in voting, terminating qualified immunity for police and phasing out fossil fuels, partly in hopes of pressuring holdout Senate Democrats to eliminate the filibuster.”
With the Democrats holding the majority in a 50-50 Senate via lowlife/liar-Kamala Harris’s tiebreaking vote, passing such extreme measures would require the elimination of the filibuster and its 60-vote threshold to advance legislation. Thus far, two Democrat senators, Joe Manchin (WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (AZ), stand in opposition to eliminating the filibuster. Therefore, the play by House Democrats is to send the Senate a long list of extreme partisan bills with the aim of creating the false narrative of obstructionist Republicans preventing progress, and then pressuring both Manchin and Sinema to give up their resistance to “needed” change.
Case in point were the recent comments from Democrat Representative Pramila Jayapal (WA). “Democrats — the White House, the Senate, and the House — have to recognize that then we’re going to have to reform the filibuster, because we have to be able to deliver,” she contended. “We had black, brown, indigenous, working poor people who came out and voted for us. And now we have to show that it’s going to make a difference that we’re not going to get caught up in the tyranny of the minority that exists in the Senate.”
For radical leftist Democrats, bipartisanship has now become the problem rather than a feature of our governmental system. In other words, they want to eliminate the very checks and balances the Founders installed to help prevent tyranny. ~The Patriot Post
Evangelicals for socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden Discover Reality
As Family Research Council President Tony Perkins opined, certain evangelicals can’t say they weren’t warned.
But, as expected by most people who have the (rapidly disappearing) ability to do critical thinking, the “Pro-Life Evangelicals for socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden” group was bitterly disappointed that socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden didn’t find a way to negotiate renewal of the Hyde Amendment into the most recent ChiCom virus “relief” bill just passed by the Democrats in Congress and signed by socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden on Thursday. “In 13 debates, multiple campaign ads, and a Planned Parenthood townhall, no one had any doubt that if this man won the White House, his folksy faith talk would take a backseat to his political deal with the far-Left,” wrote Perkins. “If Evangelicals for socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden want to say they never saw this COVID bill and its abortion funding coming, then they were the only ones.”
Admittedly, this socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden-backing pro-life cabal is a tiny group of diehard believers who thought they may have some sway with the nominally Catholic president. In fact, the overall Evangelicals for socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden organization claimed to be thrilled with the latest COVID bill: “The fact that 3-out-of-4 Americans support this Relief package indicates what is possible when we elected leaders of integrity who reflect our values. We are proud of the role Evangelical [sic] for socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden played in helping make this moment possible.” Please.
Surely knowing in their heart of hearts that socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden would go in this direction, the notion that such lemmings could even exist makes a little more sense when you understand their definition of pro-life. According to the group’s initial statement, which is no longer on its site:
We believe that a Biblically shaped commitment to the sanctity of human life compels us to a consistent ethic of life that affirms the sanctity of human life from beginning to end. … Poverty, lack of accessible health care services, smoking, racism and climate change are all pro-life issues…
Knowing that the most common reason women give for abortion is the financial difficulty of another child, we appreciate a number of Democratic proposals that would significantly alleviate that financial burden: accessible health services for all citizens, affordable childcare, a minimum wage that lifts workers out of poverty.
Unfortunately, these folks seem to have forgotten that Liberty is impossible without the life to enjoy it.
So, after this Big Government giveaway was passed, it’s hardly a surprise that the portion of the group that actually cared about the preborn was somewhat left out of the excitement felt by the Religious Left. Pro-Life Evangelicals for socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden spokesman Dr. Richard Mouw sounded crestfallen. “I don’t see any reason why a Catholic president like socialist/ scumbag/liar-Joe Biden, who certainly has understood the teachings of the church, could not at least say we want to cut back on the number of abortions, we don’t want to federally fund abortions except in extreme circumstances,” complained Mouw. “I don’t understand where he’s going with this … [or] why he would be so open now about wanting to dump the Hyde Amendment language, which for many of us was a boundary that we don’t want to cross.”
Political analyst Gary Bauer was having none of it. “I’m hard-pressed to think of a more naive group of activists,” he said. “Soviet leaders had a name for people like this who could be convinced to betray their own interests. They called them ‘useful idiots.’”
The socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden-backing pro-lifers believe they received the wrong signal from the socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden/ lowlife/liar-Harris administration, but we knew that to be the case well before November 3 or March 11. Now the green light is shining in the direction of Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers, and it’s in large part because evangelicals like this chose a feeble man’s “nice personality” over a committed pro-life president’s abrasive one. ~The Patriot Post
Senate GOP Retirements Loom Large
When it finally became clear that President Donald Trump’s challenges to the election results weren’t going to change a single vote, Republicans had to accept a stinging defeat and pin their hopes on taking back Congress in 2022.
This seemed to be a reasonable objective, and it helped take the sting out of the loss. After all, Trump’s defeat overshadowed the fact that Republicans nearly won back the House in 2020. And despite suffering a double-punch loss to the hard-left duo of Rafael Warnock and Jon Ossoff in the Georgia Senate races, Republicans entered this year only one Senate seat away from regaining power in the upper chamber.
But around every silver lining is a dark cloud, and there are some ominous signs that could make the 2022 midterms yet another painful political cycle for Republicans. For one, there’ll be some noteworthy GOP senators retiring. And while holding onto a seat held by an incumbent is statistically favorable, filling a seat after a retirement is a challenge for either party.
One of the more noteworthy Republican retirements will be that of Missouri Senator Roy Blunt. As The Dispatch reports, “Blunt has been in Congress for a while — 14 years in the House, and 10 in the Senate — and held leadership roles in both chambers. He’s long been one of Mitch McConnell’s closest allies, and was considered a potential successor to the minority leader by some. Not anymore.”
The Dispatch adds, “The biggest difference between 2010 and 2022 is that the GOP’s polarizing ex-president is adamant on playing a large role in the midterms this time. That likely won’t matter in states like Alabama, Missouri, and Ohio — which Trump won in November by 25, 15, and 8 percentage points, respectively — but nominating a Trump acolyte could make things tricky for Republicans in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.”
Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell remains influential, but even he, fresh from being reelected to yet another six-year term, isn’t guaranteed to finish out his current one. After all, McConnell is 79, and he’s had some health problems in recent years.
Some Republican Kentucky legislators are putting a mechanism in place to fill McConnell’s seat should it become vacant. Senate Bill 228 would allow an executive committee of the party holding the Senate seat to provide a list of three names rather than empowering the Democrat governor to choose a successor.
McConnell supports Senate Bill 228 “because of the razor-thin margins in the U.S. Senate,” writes Nick Storm of The Intercept. “For those Republicans, McConnell is seeking to protect the upper chamber from adding an additional Democrat.”
Other senators who’ve already announced their retirements include Ohio’s Rob Portman, North Carolina’s Richard Burr, and Pennsylvania’s Pat Toomey. All three are only in their 60s but claim to have grown disenchanted with the partisan nature of Senate politics in recent years. Chuck Grassley, who’s 87, continues to mull over his options and won’t make an announcement until the fall. Several other Republican senators have yet to make a commitment to defending their seats.
In most years, the enthusiasm of Republican voters would be a reliable factor to consider, but a recent poll reveals that GOP voters are still simmering over what they perceive to have been a capitulation by party leaders in the Senate — both for having accepted socialist/ scumbag/liar-Joe Biden’s electoral victory and for their criticism of Donald Trump.
Even with history on their side (the party out of power usually picks up seats in the midterms), it appears that the unpredictable outcome of the 2022 races will be the only thing Republicans can count on. ~The Patriot Post
Has Cancel Culture Peaked, or Is It Just Underway?
Has cancel culture peaked, or is it just getting underway? That’s the question author Roger Kimball addresses in a recent article. A prime example, he says, is tech giant Amazon — the self-described “world’s largest book store” — and its recent and as of yet unexplained removal of Ryan Anderson’s book, When Harry Became Sally: Responding to the Transgender Moment. Kimball observes, “Yes, the retail giant flagged a new policy that permits it to refuse to sell works that are ‘inappropriate and offensive’ or that trade in ‘hate speech.’ But Anderson’s book is a serious, deeply researched, and humane investigation of a deeply controverted public issue. Some people might disagree with his analysis or his conclusions. Does that make it ‘inappropriate and offensive’? Does it render it an instance of ‘hate speech’?”
The obvious answer is “no,” which is why the growing concern over a spreading cancel culture is legitimate. It raises the specter of past historically dangerous and often deadly instances of politically motivated censorship.
That said, almost no one agrees with the notion that there should be absolutely no limits to speech, which is why Big Tech has been able to get away with censorship by using that amorphous catch phrase “hate speech.” But “hate” of what?
Kimball notes one seemingly consistent theme with today’s cancel culture: sexual liberation. He writes, “We know that Amazon thinks it is OK if people express certain kinds of inappropriate and offensive opinions because it cheerfully sells Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf, anti-Semitic fantasia deriving from The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, and various writings by Louis Farrakhan and other anti-white writers. (This is not by any means a complete list of books that some or many consider inappropriate and/or offensive that Amazon sells.)”
Citing the late Marxist Herbert Marcuse, who he describes as “one of the central gurus of the cultural revolution of the 1960s,” Kimball argues Marcuse saw “sex as an engine of emancipation” to undermine the mores American values are built upon, helping to effectively advance the Marxist revolution. Furthermore, Marcuse would have celebrated cancel culture because it bans anything critical of the radical Left’s orthodoxy.
So, back to the original question: Has cancel culture peaked, or is it just underway? Unfortunately, the most likely answer is that cancel culture has only just begun. The leftist revolutionaries smell blood in the water as companies fearful of being the next victim of the woke mob willingly run to the front of the line to declare their solidarity with the cause, canceling “offenses” before even being challenged. Transgender Athletics Hits a Wall
Maybe, just maybe, we’ve reached the high-water mark of this “transgender” madness — at least if the results of a recent Morning Consult poll are any indication. In it, the American people expressed overwhelming opposition to the notion of biological males competing against our daughters in sports.
As left-leaning Politico reported Wednesday, “Former President Donald Trump railed against transgender athletes in female sports in his [recent] CPAC speech. … Other prominent voices on the right have joined in, calling it an example of political correctness having a real-world impact. Our latest POLITICO/Morning Consult poll shows broad support for the GOP position, extending across gender, age and, to a lesser degree, party. Overall, 53% of registered voters support banning transgender athletes from competing in women’s sports, versus [32%] who oppose such a ban.”
The split along party lines is even perilous for the “transgender” crowd: Republicans support a ban by a whopping 74-15 margin, but even many Democrats, at 40-42, have a hard time supporting something they simply know to be abominable.
Earlier, we said the American people are “overwhelmingly” against this. But is a 53-32 margin really overwhelming? In this case, yes. How so? A full 16% of respondents fell into the “Don’t Know / No Opinion” category. But let’s think about it: How likely is it that this group has no opinion on one of the most controversial issues of the day? Any thoughtful analysis of these folks would find that they’re simply disinclined to trust the pollster with an “intolerant” response.
As we noted just a few days after socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden’s inauguration, he decided that one of the most urgently unifying things he could do as president was to pass an executive order aimed at “preventing and combating discrimination on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation.” And so, with the stroke of a pen, he decreed that schools across the country must allow “transgender” athletes to participate in the sport of their gender “identity” — or risk losing funding.
Ah, their gender identity. Never mind the biological fact that men are, on average, bigger, stronger, and faster than women. No one disputes this. In addition, as Madeleine Kearns detailed in National Review, “Other well-documented physical advantages men have over women include height, weight, broader shoulders, greater circulating blood volume, greater resistance to dehydration, larger lung capacity, thicker skin, faster sensory frame shifting, more hemoglobin in the blood, greater upper-body strength, faster reaction times, greater bone density in the arms, larger sweat capacity, higher systolic blood pressure, higher muscle-to-fat ratio, and larger hearts.”
But beyond this encouraging polling, certain states are taking concrete action. Leading the way is Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves, who yesterday signed a bill that would ban “transgender” athletes from competing. Not far behind is Tennessee, where our colleague, state Representative Robin Smith, is cosponsoring a similar bill that would bar men from women’s sports.
Want more hope for the future of mankind? The Morning Consult poll indicates that Millennials (56%) are even more supportive of the “transgender” sports ban than the older Baby Boomers (50%) — perhaps because they’ve witnessed the rotten results of letting men compete against women.
Indeed, our daughters are the clear losers when they’re forced to fight this unfair fight. And maybe, just maybe, folks are starting to wake up to it. ~The Patriot Post
In Brief: Ivy League Prof Dismantles Antiracism
John McWhorter is a black liberal Ivy League academic, which makes his blistering criticism of the new “woke” “antiracism” rather stunning. He’s begun to release a series of installments of his new book, The Elect: Neoracists Posing As Antiracists And Their Threat To A Progressive America. Among his aims in discussing what he calls “Third Wave Antiracist” ideology, he says, will be “to argue that this new ideology is actually a religion in all but name,” “to explore why this religion is so attractive to so many people,” and “to show that this religion is actively harmful to black people despite being intended as unprecedentedly ‘antiracist.’”
He does this at some length, but we want to highlight the section where he lays out the self-contradictory “logic” of the supposed “antiracists.” He says, “The Third Wave Antiracist is deeply moved, for example, by a conglomeration of tenets which, stated clearly and placed in simple oppositions, translate into nothing whatsoever:”
When black people say you have insulted them, apologize with profound sincerity and guilt. BUT … Don’t put black people in a position where you expect them to forgive you. They have dealt with too much to be expected to. …
You must strive eternally to understand the experiences of black people. BUT … You can never understand what it is to be black, and if you think you do you’re a racist.
Show interest in multiculturalism. BUT … Do not culturally appropriate. What is not your culture is not for you, and you may not try it or do it. Yet — if you aren’t nevertheless interested in it, you are a racist. …
“Black people cannot be held accountable for everything every black person does, BUT, all whites must acknowledge their personal complicitness in the perfidy throughout the history of whiteness.
He concludes, "The self-contradiction of these tenets is crucial, in revealing that Third Wave Antiracism is not a philosophy but a religion.” If it wasn’t clear, he doesn’t view religion kindly. But that perhaps adds weight to his condemnation of so-called “antiracism.” ~The Patriot Post

One Year Ago
The long, national nightmare known as the pandemic lockdowns began a year ago yesterday. Predictably, the left shamefully politicized it.
Democrat politicians and their left-wing media allies constantly berated President Trump and second-guessed him. They demanded the shutdowns, which Trump resisted, and liberal governors and mayors were all too eager to enforce them.
The left refused to blame communist China for the virus because that didn’t help the “blame Trump” narrative. And when Trump suspended travel from communist China, the left doubled down by labeling Trump a “racist” and a “xenophobe.”
The evidence is clear that the virus ended up contributing to Trump’s defeat for a variety of reasons.
The lockdowns tanked the economy.
The restrictions on public events prevented Trump from holding his tremendous rallies.

Of course, the left is still exploiting the pandemic, using it as an excuse to ram through a massive $1.9 trillion spending bill that is jammed full of outrages like reparations for black farmers, cash for criminals, union bailouts, and, yes, tax increases.
Even now, we are still struggling to get businesses, churches, and schools reopened in many blue states.

The migrant surge at the southern border is getting worse with every passing day. Border Patrol agents apprehended nearly 100,000 illegal immigrants in February. That’s up 170% from one year ago, and it’s the highest number of February apprehensions in 15 years!
Apprehensions of unaccompanied minors jumped 58% from January to February, and 166% from February of 2020. According to The New York Times, the socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden administration is now “scrambling” to find more housing for all these unaccompanied minors.
With some Border Patrol facilities operating at 500% capacity, the socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden administration is reportedly looking to covert the NASA research center at Moffett Field in California into a child detention facility.
Who knows what it will take for the socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden administration to admit that it actually has a crisis at the southern border!
It’s ironic that so many people voted for socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden because they thought he could handle a crisis. Well, he’s only been in office for 50 days, and he’s already created one!
scumbag/liar-Cuomo’s Crisis
It’s another day, and yet another woman has come forward to accuse New York Governor scumbag/liar-Andrew Cuomo of sexual assault and harassment. We’re up to six now, and the governor’s position is increasingly perilous.
New York Attorney General Letitia James announced the appointment of not one, but two special prosecutors to investigate the allegations against scumbag/liar-Cuomo.
New York City Mayor scumbag/liar-Bill de Blasio is now publicly demanding that scumbag/liar-Cuomo resign. So are 85 members of the New York legislature, including Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins.
While six victims of scumbag/liar-Cuomo’s inappropriate behavior may ultimately drive him from office, we can’t forget the thousands of victims who died as a result of his nursing home scandal. And scumbag/liar-Cuomo’s not the only Democrat governor with a nursing home scandal.
It turns out that 23% of all nursing home coronavirus deaths occurred in just four states — Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. The Democrat governors of these states, Whitmer (MI), Murphy (NJ), and Wolf (PA), all followed scumbag/liar-Cuomo’s example and ordered nursing homes to accept COVID patients.
By the way, scumbag/liar-Cuomo may not be the only Democrat governor who engaged in a cover-up.
Garland Confirmed
The Senate confirmed Judge Merrick Garland to be attorney general of the United States. I wasn’t surprised by the outcome in the Democrat Senate. But I was disappointed by the 70 to 30 vote.
Why would 20 Republicans vote for Garland?
Do they approve of his defense of antifa?
Do they approve of his professed ignorance on illegal immigration?
Do they approve of his hostility toward the Second Amendment?
I understand that socialist/scumbag/liar-Joe Biden is going to appoint a liberal attorney general. I understand that the Democrat Senate will confirm that individual. But I don’t understand why any conservative senator would feel a need to vote for him.
Democrats would never do that. Only one Democrat — not 20 — voted to confirm Jeff Sessions as attorney general.
Sadly, this vote shows that many GOP senators still don’t get it. They desperately want to get back to “normal times,” but there are no Democrats saying we need to get back to normal.
To the contrary, Democrats are pushing a hard-left agenda, which every conservative should be fighting, and Attorney General Garland will be crucial to implementing that hard-left agenda!
The Senate will soon be voting on more of socialist/ scumbag/liar-Biden’s extreme nominees, including Xavier Becerra, Kristen Clarke, Vanita Gupta, and Rachel Levine. I hope Senate Republicans show better judgment and more unity on these votes.
Confronting Communist China
As a Trump appointee to the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, I participated in a hearing that exposed the complicity of American multi-national corporations in slave labor and religious persecution.
While slave labor is a problem in many parts the world, our hearing focused on communist China’s enslavement of Muslim Uyghurs. You can watch my opening statement here, which begins at the 10:35 mark.
I am pleased to report that the socialist/scumbag/liar-Biden administration now admits that genocide is taking place in communist China. Of course, actions speak louder than words. It remains to be seen what, if anything, the administration is willing to do about it.
