Question is… how do lawyers profit from giving free legal services? Let me explain.
We already know the training is being headlined by Southern Poverty Law Center senior fellow Eric Ward.

Ahh, the pro bono legal scam.
Question is… how do lawyers profit from giving free legal services? Let me explain.
We already know the training is being headlined by Southern Poverty Law Center senior fellow Eric Ward.
We already know that the Southern Poverty Law Center is among the worst at leveraging pro bono fraud.
Here’s the playbook: Big Law firms donate millions of hours in “free” legal work to progressive outfits like the Southern Poverty Law Center. These NGOs then unleash endless lawsuits pushing agendas like open borders, unlimited abortion, and blocking voter ID laws all under the guise of “public good.”
The scam? Firms get tax breaks, prestige, and recruiting perks for their leftist-leaning lawyers, while corporations foot the bill through higher fees.
Why would they foot the bill? Because liberal activist pro bono work gives law firms clout and special access to federal judges.
It’s not charity; it’s lawfare to override elections and impose fringe policies via courts. Democracy loses, activists win.
And the worst part? There is nothing pro bono about it.
Judges get paid via honoraria for speeches, appearances, or articles. It’s capped but nothing caps their spouses and children.
Lawyers are getting paid by their firms.
Law firms are getting paid by corporate clients using the influence built on pro bono work.
NGOs get federal grants and massive donations. Southern Poverty Law Center alone has almost a billion-dollar endowment.
And the entire ecosystem profits too. From translators to paralegals, dozens of people get paid for helping each case.
NGOs like the Action Network (backed by the AFL-CIO) organize fundraisers for “grassroots” organizations.
BIG MONEY
And who pays?
You do, of course!
Action Network is funded by unions, so the cost of every labor (from road repair to teachers) skyrockets. Massive inflation.
Southern Poverty Center gets funding from large foundations like Vanguard Charitable, which is paid from your 401k service fees.
Corporations that fund pro bono work pass the costs onto consumers. More inflation.
Courts overwhelmed by pro bono cases slow down and must hire more taxpayer-funded staff. They become too backed up to fix real problems like massive fraud.
Red tape proliferates, making everything more costly. Law firms can charge more.
Law firms, NGOs, charitable foundations, and grassroots all divert a portion of funds to the worst local, state, and federal candidates who spend more of your tax money.
The activists and illegals using these services? They not only get free legal advice, they also get living expenses and a host of free services to “help them through the process”.
And the cherry on top? Each NGO hosts gala award “fundraisers” dinners where everyone above puts on a tuxedos and laughs at you.
Everyone gets paid except you.
