“The Storming of the Capitol”: The four big lies underpinning this story

The story we are being told goes as follows:

Yesterday, as Congress was preparing to pass the vote endorsing Joe Biden’s election victory, thousands of violent right-wing thugs stormed the Capitol building.

Acting according to Trump’s wishes, and with his endorsement, these domestic terrorists overran the police barricades in an attempt to overthrow the senate and preserve Trump’s presidency.

Fortunately the police were able to secure the situation, drive the violent rioters out and the democratic process was able to continue.

Not one single part of this story is true. …

1. There was no “storming”. Rather videos show police opening barriers to let the “rioters” in.

In the entrance hall, the “violent thugs” respected the velvet ropes and kept in orderly lines, took a few selfies with the cops, posed for the press and — when the main events were over — they were quietly allowed to leave.

Compare and contrast the police’s treatment of those people inside the capitol, with their later treatment of protesters breaking curfew on the streets.

2. There was no “incitement”. All of Trump’s social media posts on the subject instructed people to “go home” “with peace and love”.

Is that inciting violence?

Twitter and Facebook took the totally unprecedented step of completely removing those posts, and blocked him posting any further. They claimed to be preventing further violence, but it looks more like they concealed Trump’s denunciations of violence.

3. There was no violence. Indeed whether or not Trump “incited” anything is moot, because there was no violence. Disregard the reports of chemical weapons, pipe bombs or IEDs — none of which ever appeared. None of the “rioters” are as yet shown to have hurt anyone.

The only person reportedly killed or injured was a protester allegedly shot by the police. Compare and contrast the attitude of the media to this “violence”, vs the “fiery but mostly peaceful” protests all last summer.

There is so much that I want to write! Dee does not have it exactly correct either. I wonder if she was there or who her source was. I was there. I was not on the side where President Trump spoke. I was on the opposite side (east side?). We listened to/watched him on our phones. We viewed the TV pundits talking about what was happening. We could see or hear nothing from the other side. From our side, we sat/stood and froze facing three sets of steps. Looking at the building, I was between the center steps and the right steps, closer to the right steps. Our numbers were not huge, but we had thousands. There were not enough police for the crowd. No horses. Bike racks kept us from approaching the Capitol’s “ground patio.” There was a disturbance at the other end, near the left steps. It was stopped. Reports came in of gun shots and the breaching of the Capitol on the other side. Our crowd roared its approval. They are going to hear us! Then reports on our phones said that people were actually inside. The group to our far left again aroused and knocked down the barricade (bike racks). The people rushed across the “patio.” Those to my far right then began shoving down the barricades and rushed onto the patio and onto the center steps joining with those of the far left who were now engaged with police on the steps. The police were outmanned and did not use weapons of any sort. No clubs. No mace, et al. The barricades everywhere were toppled. Everyone rushed to the center steps. The police retreated up the steps to the veranda and finally went indoors. I saw a young man bashing on the window to the far right. It dented and splintered but would not break. I saw a 4-inch hole in the window. People were milling around chanting. That is what I and most everybody truly wanted. The police kept us far away. Those inside would not hear our chants. The RINOs and dems disrespect us all the time. They give a nod-and-wink and do as they choose. Hillary called us what those two groups always call us: “deplorables.” They believe they are omnipotent. We are nothing: serfs at best. This time, because we are outside the doors. They actually sensed our anger, our size, our presence, and heard our loud chants. Hopefully, this would spur on/support those elected officials inside who were supporting us. We had no idea of what was occurring elsewhere. Some were trying to get inside, through the door. To what end? Our presence, we heard the pundits say, made them postpone the event. We were excited! Now they would go into their groups and re-think their positions and we might win! The elections might be re-done! We heard canon-like booms. We smelled tear gas. People got in the door. I saw the door swing open and shut several times. The police were inside at the door and as someone would enter, they would experience tear gas. Why submit yourself to this. I began to think that this crowd was not just Trumpsters. I wondered if the dems had placed antifa and blm in our ranks to cause trouble and then blame us and POTUS. Yes, we followed those who rushed to the Capitol steps, up the steps and onto the verandas surrounding those doors. But we did no damage. Those police were just doing their jobs. They are our friends. We would not try to hurt them. These aggressive people wore no Trump items or carried signs. We were everyday people wanting justice and respect. We had no weapons but our mouths. Damage was not our intent. Those types of goals belong to the blm and antifa as demonstrated this past year in Portland and elsewhere, including DC. Our goal was to be seen and heard as we have demonstrated at the multiple Trump rallies. I called over 34,000 Pennsylvanians in support of Trump and knocked on hundreds of doors in a ten mile stretch of roadway. I waved signs on various occasions and recruited volunteers (trumpvictory2020). And my vote was flipped!!!??? Yes, I wanted the RINOs and dems to hear my voice, to sense my anger, and my determination with the hope that the votes of those six states would be overthrown. That is all we Trumpsters wanted. The violence belongs hung around the necks of the blm, antifa, and their supporters, and we know who they all are now: big tech, international companies, Soros and those like him, China, and their pawns who we call RINOs and dems. We the People, with God’s wisdom and direction, will overcome this. Am I done with my journey? Once January 20 passes, I will know what I need to do in PA. Let’s Roll!

Off the subject! Have you heard ther lights went out at the Vatican. Somer think maybe the Pope was arrested for trafficking, et al. I asked my great-niece in Ktaly and she said it ocurred in Pakistan also. They are reporting that it was the fault of the military.
