If an H1B visa worker is laid off from the very job for which the visa was sponsored to come to the USA, why should they be allowed to stay back with COS loopholes and take another job for which the visa was not sponsored? Please help stop abuses of COS for laid-off H1B foreign workers
Please end these COS for these laid-off H1B fraudsters to stay here forever by using the COS (Change of Status) loophole. Please force all laid-off H1Bs to apply for a new visa. Make a rule for companies to file to withdraw their H1B status within 5 business days for laid-off H1BS/F1-OPT+STEMs etc. They are using our high-trust immigration system to deny US citizens their rightfully deserved jobs!
