Newborns have natural citizenship via bloodline to the parents and to the jurisdiction of the parents citizenship/ Jurisdiction. Most countries give citizenship to the foreign-born baby via/ through the nationality of the parents' citizenship and via thebloodline of the newborn to the country of the parent's allegiance/jurisdiction. Jus Sanguinus. (Jus Sanguinus means 'of the blood.)
The parents' Citizenship in that nation also gives Jurisdiction in that nation. Jurisdiction gives rights. Legal rights.
Including Kim Wong Ark's so-called 'Birth country allegiance (jus soleil, of the soil) jurisdiction, to also be given babies at birth-----creates a class of citizens who are born as Dual Citizenship status andtherefore also of dual Jurisdiction.

No baby born via foreign birth location(soleil), should have any lawful alliegance to any country, other than by the (blood/ sanguinus)—of the parents' country of citizenship /jurisdiction, except by the child's own decision and choice at age of adulthood, lawful application for citizenship in that chosen country, and approval by that country, of that young adults' application for citizenship.
That country being applied to, should maintain full rights to reject or accept that individual's application for any reason. If America wants to forbid Muslims from coming here we should have that right. And we DO.
1952 McCarren-Walter Immigration Act says so. Congress ceded authority to POTUS to keep out any group of people for any reason for any length of time. Trump's 1st EO in his first term, he should have given the 9th circuit the com-uppance they so desperately STILL need....
Taken to its extreme, traveling and birthing, done by enough parents/ citizens---- ultimately brings in the One World Order/ New World Order, as, based upon this Kim Wong Ark wrong reading----at some point, enough babies would be born as dual citizens to make nationality almost meaningless.
