      IDK - - The idiot is from California, so WHY would he be tried in Manhattan??  Probably the DA did some "judge shopping:??

      The otther possibility - - the victim was from Manhattan, but served on his staff in DC:  am sure we will get the details eventually.  Notably, as of Mon. 04'13 the "swine" has resigned from Congress!!  YEEE-HAWWWW!!
