That’s the exact claim in this X… https://t.co/taIV2YNhaQ
So, US military veterans are officially preparing for the worst. They are forming a national organization called ‘The Modern Exodus’ to train American men in weapons handling and survival skills to counter an out-of-control, corrupt government.
That’s the exact claim in this X post and the attached promo video drives it home, featuring a US Marine front and center promoting the group, the training, the survival skills, and the whole “preparing for the worst” message.
But here’s the massive red flag nobody is talking about: The Marine in this video is Brian McGinnis. He’s openly anti-American and pro-Palestinian/Iranian. He’d rather fly the Palestinian flag than the American one that’s should raise a red flag for, any organization recruiting and training armed “American” men “to counter a corrupt government.”
This whole thing is also being pushed hard by the original poster @ FurkanGozukara, who’s been all over pro-Iranian content: praising Iran’s “brilliant” moves, de-dollarization efforts, Strait of Hormuz strategy, and constantly accusing US leaders of warmongering and sabotage for profit instead of peace.
The Modern Exodus should know: militia violent extremism and domestic threats in most state law makes it a felony to teach or assemble for firearms/explosives training if it’s done “knowing” or “with intent” that it will be used “unlawfully in furtherance of a civil disorder.
Private paramilitary groups like ‘The Modern Exodus’ also can’t impersonate or activate as official militia that’s reserved for government-called units only. This isn’t just edgy talk. When you combine the explicit “counter corrupt government” framing in the tweet/video, veteran-led weapons/survival training, and individuals with this kind of public anti-American/pro-Palestinian/Iran-sympathetic record, it lights up every federal and state monitoring system for domestic threats. FBI, DHS, and fusion centers watch this exact pattern.
Pure speech like a retweet is protected, but the organization + training + intent wording + the featured “Marine’s” preference and protest history? That’s the kind of thing that draws real government attention fast and can turn into actual legal problems in most states.
Just saying.
