We can only hope and pray that our government doesn't employ the same tactics as the Canadians did with their trucker's convoy. Our Constitution prevents those kind of authoritarian actions, but only if We the People demand that our elected and unelected members of government follow it.
Biden has a penchant for picking the wrong fights, a fact not unnoticed by supporters, including Barrack Obama. Biden has fired what could prove to be the first shot over the bows in his personal feud against Texas, just weeks after withdrawing from the New Hampshire Primary, where, ironically, exit polls showed border security far outpacing concerns over inflation. Talk about Karma.
Another Tuesday night poll suggested that stupidity like this appears to benefit the Trump campaign; nearly half of the primary ballots for Donald were cast by a mix of non-Republicans. And it only gets worse for Biden-- of the nearly half milliion participating Independents, an estimated 75% voted for Trump. Again, it's not about the economy anymore. To paraphrase the wisdom of James Carville with a twist, "It's BORDER SECURITY Stupid!"
Handicapping the principals in the Biden-Texas standoff, one appears too dedicated to blink. The other seems too dumb.

A large percentage of the population pays absolutely no attention to what's going on, making this effort to get more EYEBALLS is not a bad thing.
