LOL - so the Trump administration has driven out 75% of the lawyers/legal professionals from the Civil Rights division. This is the one clearcut case I can think of where an obvious effort to purge political operatives has actually taken place in the government. Under the leadership of @AGPamBondi and @AAGDhillon, the Civil Rights Division has been restored to its original mission of protecting the constitutional rights of all Americans, instead of baselessly targeting political opponents like the previous Administration.

Under the leadership of
@AGPamBondi
and
@AAGDhillon
, the Civil Rights Division has been restored to its original mission of protecting the constitutional rights of all Americans, instead of baselessly targeting political opponents like the previous Administration.Its strong enforcement record on a wide range of priorities – including safeguarding our elections, ending burdensome consent decrees, and rooting out antisemitism and race-based admission on college campuses – is historic and speaks to the promise of a government fighting for all, not a favored few.
To the extent that this new commitment to justice for ALL Americans disturbs former DOJ employees, that says much more about them than it does about the current DOJ leadership.
