That's what is called "doing the right thing". The government overcharged people and President Trump has the decency to return the money. That's also called leadership.
He is throwing money at the public all over the place. Didn't he just promised a $5000 check to all adults Americans if the republicans keep majority after the elections?
Yes, President Trump promised $5,000 to all adult Americans if Republicans retain their majority in Congress. That's a great move because (a) it stimulates the economy just like the Big Beautiful Bill did and (b) it keeps dumocrats from grabbing power by any means necessary.
