Why would this indictment make it to trial... Is Trump being set up? His attorney doesn't seem to believe that a motion to dismiss for lack of standing based on the Statute of Limitations has expired. In addition, there is no violation of the law present as determined by a clear reading of the statutes involved.
The Judge should throw the case out... as frivolous and malicious prosecution… sanctioning the Prosecutor. It is within the Judges prerogative to set aside obvious frivolous and malicious prosecutions. It certainly should be a motion heard at arraignment and if not an immediate appeal filed. One should never let their client be tried where clear proof of prosecutorial abuse is present, and known serious bias exists in the jury pool. If the trial is set, a motion to change venue should be pressed and if a change of venue is not approved, appeal.
Should Pres. Trump goes to trial with a local jury he may find it difficult to campaign from a prison cell. I am very concerned for his safety and the outcome of any trial... I am also concerned over his Defense Councils' comments regarding his EXPECTATION that this abusive prosecution is GOING TO TRIAL... It should never see a trial.
