 New York Post: The Trump Administration has been mulling ways to get more Americans married and having kids — including a $5,000 “baby bonus” for every new mom after delivery. White House officials have recently been brainstorming plans to tackle the declining birth and marriage rates — and push more Americans toward the traditional family values of Trump and his allies. Policy experts and advocates for growing the birth rate have been meeting with White House aides to come up with plans to convince more women to have babies. Birth rates in the US have long been slipping, hitting a new low in 2023 with just under 3.6 million babies born that year. That’s about 76,000 less than 2022 and the lowest one-year tally since 1979 (New York Post). Collin Rugg: In addition to the $5000 baby bonus, the administration is considering reserving 30% of Fulbright Program scholarships for married applicants or those who have children. US birth rates have been declining for years, with 2023 seeing a record low of just 55 births for every 1000 women (X). |

This would reverse what Johnson did by funding black families with no husband/father. He was a racist pretending otherwise. This would reverse the mindset that LBJ helped establish, that a family is just fine with only one parent.
I agree, this is one of the most important things Trump can do for this country to restore family.....but few agree. As I stated before Orban did similar years ago in Hungary to increase the population. I much rather give them an incentive to marry and have families than pay their student loans so they can bury themselves in their jobs and have no real lives!
Trump, Orban, Duda, Milei, all are of the right character and mission to save their countries.
Hungary has done similar trying to increase their population and continue the unique Hungarian bloodline!
What a great idea....IF THEY ARE MARRIED, AMERICAN CITIZENS AND LIVING IN THE SAME HOUSEHOLD......NOT RECIEVING ANY GOVERNMENT BENEFITS.
