Another bad night of Rioting in Portland, Oregon. A small number of Federal troops there to protect courthouse and other Federal property only (great job!). Wanting to be asked by City & State to STOP THE RIOTS. Would bring in National Guard, end problem immediately. ASK!

The President already has the Authorization To Use Military Force (AMUF) in the Insurrection Act, Emergency Powers Act and the National Security Act... since the governors in the offending states are involved in promoting insurrection.... the first person to be engaged should be the Governors... arrest them and move them to GITMO where they can await indictment and trial by a Military Tribunal... be prepared to go immidiately into high gear and round up any and all who incite more riot and insurrection... including the MSM, its owners, and anchors... put them in Irons and ship them all to GITMO.
That's how it will go down when Trump assumes total authority over the country. I look forward to that day and then to the time when one patriotic party will control the country, will follow the laws & the US Constitution, and will preserve our freedom and liberties. Trump 2020!!!!

He doesn't need to be asked to intervene by Governors... He can cite the Insurrection Act, The Emergency Powers Act, and the National Security Act of 1947 as amended for his authority to invoke martial law. Congress must act to withdraw the AUMF provided in the acts listed.
I think the President is smart as hell. By offering help he is showing the country it is the democrats/communists/bidens causing the problem...sneaky smart; if I say so myself
I think the owners of the burned-out businesses and their employees don't believe that allowing insurrection to feed on the nation is smart...
Note, it would take am act by Congress to remove the President's decision to revoke the AUMF contained in the statutory acts listed above... That act would be subject to Presidential veto making it necessary for Congress to have a 2/3rds majority in both houses to remove the President's right to initiate Martial Law under one or all three of the above acts of congress.
No need to ask, Mr President. Just move in and take over. Use the might of the federal government, and then just keep going. Subjugate every corner of this great country, drain the swamp, and preserve our freedom and liberties.
It might be fun to watch: The President calls the Mayor city X and the Governor of state X: "There is a national election coming up on November 3, 2020, we are ready to assist if you ask for troops to end the riots." Governor/Mayor of X: "go pound sand" President: "May I quote you? I won't be calling to offer assistance again, nor will I accept a phone call from you." A few minutes later the Governor/Mayor of X get a call from the US Attorney General: "I understand you had a conversation with the President a few minutes ago. Would you tell me what was said?" Gov/Mayor: same stuff. AG: "May I quote you? I won't be calling again nor will I accept a call from you in the future." Two hours later: US Marshalls appear at the Governor/Mayor's offices with arrest warrants for accessory to rioting, looting, destruction of government property and whatever else happened there. They are taken into custody and after verifying their identities, escorted to the nearest airport and put on a plane to the country most likely to make these elected officials feel safe and secure. When the plane lands, they have been stripped of their US Citizenship, and added to the no-fly list. Repeat as required to ensure peaceful elections in November. When members of Congress and the press ask about it, take them to the last place these individuals were seem by US authorities. President Lincoln did it to a sitting US Senator, governors and mayors (and rioters) deserve no less. You did say we could quote you...didn't you. Treason, it's a non-stop ticket out of the country.
