  • Michael and others——AI is rewriting islam as welcomed into America by our founders. But there is this:

James Hutsom, Library of Congress Manuscript Division Chief, wrting on the Founders' attitudes towards Islam:

"The 1780 MA constitution "liberty of conscience" did not extend to the encouragement or promotion of Islam in public life. The Third Article of the 1780 Constitution promoted "liberty of conscience" but did not encourage or promote Islam in public life." It continued to say, "every denomination of Christians, demeaning themselves peaceably and as good subjects of the commonwealth, shall be equally under the protection of the law; and no subordination of any sect or denomination to another shall ever be established by law." (Constitution of...1780,I.III,)

Not as part of the Constitution, but law required the Governor to be "Christian." And that "any who wished to serve as governor, lieutenant governor, counselor, senator or representative was required to take an oath of office that included: "I do declare that I believe the Christian religion, and have a firm persuasion of its truth..."

These stipulations inherently excluded muslims from holding office in that state.

Samual West advocated teaching Christian morality and stated the state should not interfere with the right of a muslim to "worship" till he "disturbs the peace or bothers others who are in religious worship." He did NOT equate islam with Christianity. Other tidbits "they adopted a religion founded in truth." [No one can prove allah existed.]

"Founders clearly believed that Christianity is the one religion that most fully coincides with the republican principles they espoused. They considered Christianity the “one true religion.” [NOTE: The Continental Congress repeatedly referred to Christianity as “true religion” in their proclamations to the American public; see the June 1775, March 1779, and October 1782 proclamations in Miller, 2009 and Miller, 2012.]

Benjamin Franklin stated pointedly: History will also afford frequent Opportunities of showing the Necessity of a Public Religion, from its Usefulness to the Public; the Advantage of a Religious Character among private Persons; the Mischiefs of Superstition, &c. and the Excellency of the Christian Religion above all others ancient or modern” (1840,

    • Jea9, I ONLY KNOW THIS BECAUSE OF THE ARTICLE YOU SO KINDLY SENT ME!

    • You are welcome. I love your passion for America, Michael.

    • Jea9, you are so right!   Our forefathers definitely did not recognize Islam as a religion that should be acknowledged in America!

    • They didn't approve anything but conservative Christianity, definitely none of this rainbow flag kind of Christianity.

    • PAUL, I AGREE!

    • Rainbow Christianity is no kind of Christianity, it is an homage to Satan and his kingdom.

The usurpation of God's rainbow, given to us as His Covenant, is desecrated by them.. God is not mocked, but He is merciful. We will see what His outcome will be.

    • Jea9, I agree 100%!   They are completely sick, demented, and anti God!  A truly  disgusting bunch of perverts!
