President Trump signed an executive action on Tuesday to prevent illegal immigrants from being counted in the 2020 census, saying the move is needed for “respect for the law and protection of the integrity of the democratic process.”
The president said for the purposes of congressional reapportionment, it will be U.S. policy “to exclude from the apportionment base aliens who are not in a lawful immigration status.”
In the memorandum to the Commerce Department, Mr. Trump said the Constitution does not specifically define which people should be counted every 10 years to determine the number of each state’s representatives in the House.
“Determining which persons should be considered ‘inhabitants’ for the purpose of apportionment requires the exercise of judgment,” the president said. “The discretion delegated to the executive branch to determine who qualifies as an ‘inhabitant’ includes authority to exclude from the apportionment base aliens who are not in a lawful immigration status.”

The Left count illegal aliens as part of their political bases, the more illegals, the more Democrat voters...at least in their minds. It also makes determining voter fraud even more difficult which works in the Dems favor. They scream about Rebublican voter suppression but produce no evidence of it, but one doesn't have to be a rocket scientist to see the problems with counting illegals to determine apportionment of Representatives to Congress. The states with the most illegals will be over represented in Congress and most of those states are already liberal left leaning states. We are in danger of becoming a one party government. It doesn't matter which party is in control when that happens, it is never good when one party has too much power. The politicians are corrupt enough as it is and without proper opposition, we are lost as nation with a democratic process of government. Kiss your money and freedom as you know it goodbye.

Rocky they have been doing it for years. Trump is trying to end it. I hope if it goes to SCOTUS clear heads prevail and it is upheld. For SCOTUS to overturn his action would be another example of creating legislation from the bench, instead of in Congress where laws are supposed to be made.
Once Trump has secured the presidency for another term or so, the American people must demand that john roberts is investigated and is removed from the supreme court, he single handedly has ruled in favor of all the leftists' perversions of law, to destroy our country, from obamacare, to the illegal daca, redifining marriage, unleashing the sexually depraved and perverted on our society. This roberts loser is doing all of this perversion because he hates (or is jealous of) Trump. Give Trump 4 more years, and the replacement of one or two old justices, and roberts will be persona non grata. Time to save America from the likes of roberts.
I never could understand why Roberts, the outsider, was brought in to become Chief Justice, when Clarence Thomas was already on the court and deserved it much more than Roberts, and was/is much more in iline with our Constitutional principles.
