An asteroid with a diameter the size of a refrigerator could strike the Earth the day before the November election, according to celebrity scientist Neil deGrasse Tyson...but it’s not large enough to do any serious damage. The famed astrophysicist said the space rock, known as 2018VP1, is hurtling towards Earth at a speed of 25,000 miles per hour and may clip the planet on Nov. 2. “It may buzz-cut Earth on Nov. 2, the day before the Presidential Election,” he wrote on Instagram. But he added that the flying object is nothing to lose sleep over since “it’s not big enough to cause harm.” “So if the World ends in 2020, it won’t be the fault of the Universe,” he said. The event was held in place of the second presidential election which was canceled last week. Guthrie not only works for a network that the president and many conservatives consider to be anti-Trump, but her husband was also former Democrat Vice President scumbag-Al Gore’s traveling chief of staff during his 2000 presidential campaign. Guthrie was continually combative toward the president. Her attitude toward Trump seemed to be in stark juxtaposition to what was happening over on ABC News, where Democrat candidate scumbag drumbling lips liar-Joe Biden was handed seemingly friendly and even soft questions. The attitude of the networks didn’t sit well with a number of journalists and media personalities, such as media reporter Joe Concha who pointed out Guthrie’s continued aggressive posture toward the president when he wrote: “Trump denounces White Supremacy multiple times. Savannah Guthrie follows by accusing Trump of dodging. This is already an absolute joke. And does the audience get to ask questions? Trump pushes back by asking why Lester Holt didn’t ask about Antifa. Trump denounces white supremacy a good four times. Guthrie: ‘It sounds like you’re dodging.’ ”Concha was joined by political commentator Lisa Boothe who questioned, “Why is Savannah Guthrie debating President Trump? I thought this was a town hall. The media is garbage these days.” Fox News host Greg Gutfeld also piled on, tweeting: “NBC is embarrassing itself. worse than expected. Guthrie is like a poorly disguised ambush. {washingtonexaminer.com} ~ The New York Post is required to delete all tweets containing its story on Democratic presidential nominee scumbag drumbling lips liar-Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden before its Twitter account is unlocked, according to the tech giant...A Twitter spokesperson told the Washington Examiner on Friday that the company was no longer censoring tweets that contain the story as the private information that was once of concern is now widely available in the press and on other digital platforms. However, it is not retroactively changing its enforcement decisions and is requiring the outlet to delete old tweets containing the story that it said were in violation of its policies. The Washington Examiner reached out to the New York Post for comment. The story Twitter censored from the New York Post purported to show evidence Hunter Biden facilitated communications between his father and Vadym Pozharskyi, who served as an adviser to the board of Ukrainian energy firm Burisma that the younger Biden was once on. Twitter locked the outlet out of its account and prevented users from sharing the article in tweets and direct messaging. { news.usni.org } ~ Venezuela’s propaganda videos are showing off warships armed with new Chinese-made anti-ship missiles. The C-802A missile, supplied by Beijing to the Venezuelan Navy, is designed to take out surface ships at ranges of over 100 nautical miles...The sea-skimming missile is generally analogous to the Harpoon. This arms deal should greatly increase the reach and potency of President Nicolás Maduro’s navy. The acquisition was revealed on Sept. 25 by the Venezuelan Navy formally known as the Armada Bolivariana de Venezuela. Footage of one test firing is now being used in propaganda videos posted online, including by Maduro’s official Twitter account (in Spanish). The video footage is not actually of a Venezuelan Navy ship. It is taken from a Royal Thai Navy test launch of the C-802A missile. That launch, from the Thai Navy’s frigate HTMS Kraburi, can be viewed on YouTube. But this does not mean that China has not supplied the system. Misleading images are part and parcel of Venezuelan Navy propaganda. For example, the same video shows a Venezuelan Type-209 submarine, when in fact their boats have not been to sea in years. But the lack of images of it aboard a Venezuelan Navy ship does suggest that they have not yet equipped their own ships with the missile. According to open sources, the missiles are likely to equip Venezuela’s Guaiquerí-class patrol boats. These are Spanish built Avante 2200 combatants and were delivered without anti-ship missiles. This makes sense because in June 2017 the Venezuelan Navy was taking steps to equip two unspecified offshore patrol vessels with the missile at the sum of $2.9 million. The Venezuelan Navy has three Guaiquerí class ships, so it is possible that one will be left without missiles. Meanwhile, Venezuela’s two remaining Italian built Lupo-class frigates are fitted for Otomat Mk 2 missiles, as are some missile boats. The Lupos are the most capable warships in the Venezuelan lineup, but are increasingly dated. The other modern warship, the Guaicamacuto-class patrol boats, are optimized for littoral operations and do not have a missile armament. It was one of these ships, Naiguatá (GC-23), which was lost on March 23, 2020. She was attempting to stop the ice-hardened cruise liner RCGS Resolute when the two ships collided. The warship lost the encounter and sank. RCGS Resolute suffered some scratches.Venezuela’s armed forces have been hit hard by the country’s economic woes, and by international sanctions. They have, however, been able to source advanced weapons from Russia and now China. As well as the C-802A anti-ship missiles, China has been supplying small arms and general equipment. The church’s leader, Pastor John MacArthur, agreed to voluntarily comply with the March lockdown restrictions because of the original dire predictions of massive COVID-19 cases and deaths in California. It became clear after four months that these predictions were wrong, and that the virus was not nearly as dangerous as originally feared. However, the restrictions continued to drag on indefinitely and were undermining the ability of the church to function properly. On July 24, the Grace Community Church board decided to reopen the church, as explained in a detailed statement, titled “Christ, Not Caesar, Is Head of the Church: A Biblical Case for the Church’s Duty to Remain Open.” The church determined that the health order was illegitimate, over-broad, and unconstitutional, because it indefinitely prevented the congregation from assembling and exercising its religion and sincerely held religious beliefs. The church has relied upon the guaranteed religious freedom protections of the U.S. and California constitutions, and is now represented by a Thomas More Society legal team. In response to the church’s indoor services on July 26, the Los Angeles County counsel, Mary Wickham, and five senior county council attorneys, acting on behalf of Davis, had a law firm, Miller Barondess LLP, issue a cease and desist letter on July 29.
