There's a NEW lawsuit filed in Dallas County that accuses a 14-year-old former student of violently raping a woman cleaning the school.

The lawsuit claims when Janie Doe was in a room, she was attacked by the teen.

The teen grabbed her by the neck, choked her and slammed her body against the door.

He then pulled her back into the classroom, turned the light off, and told her that he was going to kill her.

The lawsuit says that despite her pleas, he continued to strangle her, raped her, threatened to kill her if she told anyone, and took her phone.

When the victim was freed, she allegedly approached a security guard who told her to stop crying and said they would "handle it."

When school officials came over, they automatically knew who here attacker was because he attempted to rape a female student prior, according to the lawsuit.

The lawsuit says no one at the school or mosque summoned help.

This 14-year-old male had previously been charged in 2024, with at least three counts of indecent exposure involving female strangers and was placed on electronic monitoring.

On Feb. 16, 2026, he was sentenced to 25 years in prison, according to the filing.

These accusations cannot be prove because the rapist is under the age of 18.

Juvenile court records are sealed.

I made several attempts to reach to the school to hear their perspective.

The email address listed on its website was invalid (Islamic is spelled wrong on their website), its online contact form returned as an error, and no one answered the phone and there was no voicemail.

This is the THIRD sexual misconduct for the Islamic Center of Irving.

DISCLAIMER: This report is based off of accusations made in a civil lawsuit. The lawsuit is on going. The school and defendants are not claiming fault.

In May 2019, Irving police arrested Islamic Center of Irving security guard Syed Humzah Hashmi on a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child after a boy who attended the Islamic School of Irving reported abuse at the center. An arrest warrant alleged Hashmi took the then-third-grader into an empty classroom and tried to sodomize him during an incident in the preceding years. He was convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a child and three offenses of possession of child pornography. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison on the aggravated-sexual assault case and 8 years in prison in each of thе possession-of-child pornography cases, with the sentences to run concurrently.

In addition to that case, in August 2019, a Texas court ordered former Islamic Center of Irving imam Zia ul-Haq Sheikh to pay $2.55 million to a woman identified as Jane Doe in a sexual-misconduct lawsuit. She alleged he began counseling her at the Irving mosque when she was 13, then groomed her for years before coercing her into sex at a motel in 2016. Sheikh, who was forced to resign from the Irving center in 2017, called the judgment erroneous. He has appealed the ruling in 2021 the courts sided with the victim and ordered that appellee JANE DOE recover her costs of this appeal from appellant ZIA UL-HAQ SHEIKH.
