Ilona, removing the politics from the Ukraine, what is left is "Location." Miles of coastline on a Sea with rapid access to "Neutral/Friendly" Nations to both NATO and Rissia. The Ukraine itself borders the same scenarios. Logical Minds would leave it as is, isolated, to run itself and resolve its own issues without interference from any sides or mindsets.

The Ukrain is far more corrupt than we are. I know that is hard to imagine, but they never stopped behaving like the commies in their politics, the country is a constant mess.....unfortunately for their people. We are struggling trying to bring about important, necessary changes in our political class, their challange is a thousand times harder. Thirty years out of communism they haven't been able to achieve what some of the other formerly Soviet controlled countries have. Poland, Hungary, and some going down toward the Adriatic Sea with strong right wing leaders have made really good changes heading in the right direction, but the Ukrain is still struggling......their leadership steals everything that isn't nailed down!
