Victor Orbán Concedes Defeat in Hungary Election |
Orbán had been the longest-serving leader in the European Union, having led the nation for over 16 years. Financial Times: Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán conceded defeat in parliamentary elections on Sunday night after voters handed the opposition Tisza party a landslide victory. With 99 per cent of the votes counted, the Tisza (Respect and Freedom) party led by Péter Magyar was projected to win 138 out of 199 seats in parliament, a two-thirds majority that would enable it to change the constitution. Orbán’s Fidesz party was projected to win just 55 seats, down from 133 in 2022…. In a concession speech to party supporters, Orbán, who is the EU’s longest-serving premier, said “whatever happens we will serve our country and the Hungarian nation from opposition as well” (Financial Times). On the victor: Péter Magyar, a former Orbán loyalist who campaigned against corruption and on everyday issues like health care and public transport, has pledged to rebuild Hungary’s relationships with the European Union and NATO — ties that frayed under Orbán. European leaders quickly congratulated Magyar. His victory was expected to transform political dynamics within the EU, where Orbán had upended the bloc by frequently vetoing key decisions, prompting concerns he sought to break it up from the inside (AP). |

You know what is really ironic? The new guys name is Magyar....which in Hungarian means Hungarian! Hungary in Hungarian is Magyarország ....ország trenslation is country.
I wonder how many hard lessons do the Hungarian people need before they see reality. They sold out to the EU not having an idea what that means!

We have different sources for news, that doesn't mean people know it or trust them. Europe is pretty much CNN- like. This is a country 30 years out of communism ( when you are completely depleated 30 years is a short time trying to recover) . The EU realizing Hungarians want to be Hungarians, and the battle began to make sure they see what they have in Western Europe, hungarians want it, not realizing what they have to give up for it. They cannot get there, not realizing it's the EU keeping them from reaching their dream, they blame their own leader.
All of Europe is misled by the news, the same goes in Eastern European countries, they get what the media and politicians want them to have.

True so far. And I do not know what is coming, but I believe God is revealing the horror underbelly of evil that far too many nations are under, which is all the 'civilized' countries. See Isaiah 45. He may also be King David in reuniting kingdoms. Trump has been prophesied about in these roles since at least 2026, when Prophet Kim Clement prophesied Trump. I fully believe Trump will be honored world-wide at some point. Like Hungary, the nations have not known, nor has this nation, known what kind of evil was running their governent.
