Cincinnati: In the race for the open U.S. Senate seat, about 1.06 million Republican ballots were cast, according to unofficial, final results from Ohio’s Secretary of State. Also: There are more registered Democrats than Republicans in Ohio: Democrat: 947,000; Republican: 836,000; Unaffiliated: 6.2 million (Ohio SOS).
