Before WWII, wheat was stabilized with iodine — a halide our bodies actually need.
Then they swapped it for bromine, a toxic halide known to disrupt thyroid function, lower IQ, and cause hormonal chaos.

Today, over 80% of commercial bread, flour, and baked goods in the U.S. still contain brominated flour or potassium bromate — a chemical banned in Europe, China, Canada, and Brazil.
But not in the U.S.
Not even labeled.

Side effects?

They knew iodine was safe.
