Trump made serious, serious mistakes in appointments to key positions... starting with Reince Priebus as his first Chief of Staff and Sessions as his first AG... those two appointments crippled his start-up and left him with a house full of deep state appointments being shepherded thru the selection and appointment process.
FRANKLY, Pres. Trump was not a good personnel manager... in fact, he was terrible... He permitted key managers of our government to oppose his policy and run circles around him... DHS, CIA, FBI, DOJ, DNI, and a host of other departments, offices, and agencies, were constantly throwing up roadblocks and slow waking him... that should have ended with massive firings in the first year of his office... and if the GOP leadership opposed him... He should have DEMANDED their resignations or threatened to start a new party right there and then... Appointing all new US Attorneys, heads of the DOJ agencies and offices, new FBI and federal law enforcement leadership, and cleaned out Obama's suspect military promotions, both active duty and civilian staff...
PRES. TRUMP NEEDED TO DRAIN THE SWAMP and let the chips fall where they may... Things would be quite different had he done so... most of our nation's corrupt officials would be in jail instead of running the government.
