'It's looking very grim': Senate GOP braces for Democratic majority
by David M. Drucker
{ washingtonexaminer.com } ~ The prognosis for the Republican Senate majority is dire, as well-funded Democratic challengers put red states in play and GOP incumbents feel dragged down by President Trump's faltering reelection bid...Senate Republicans are clinging to a three-seat majority. They are poised to pick up one Democratic-held seat in Alabama and threatening to flip another in Michigan. But it all starts to come apart from there. Incumbent Republicans are endangered in Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Maine, and North Carolina; on their heels in Georgia and Montana; and facing the prospect of major upsets in Alaska and South Carolina. Republicans could also lose an open-seat contest in ruby-red Kansas. In Alaska, Kansas, Montana, and South Carolina, where Trump is heavily favored over Democratic nominee scumbag drumbling lips liar-Joe Biden, the Republicans’ problem is resources. Energized grassroots liberals have flooded Democratic challengers in those states with hundreds of millions of dollars in contributions. Republican candidates are completely outgunned. In Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Maine, North Carolina, and Georgia, all presidential battlegrounds, the problem is money — and Trump. The president’s standing versus scumbag drumbling lips liar-Biden has suffered since the first televised debate and his bout with the coronavirus. The fallout is impacting Senate Republicans. “Democrats are more likely than not going to win control of the Senate,” said Nathan Gonzales, publisher of Inside Elections, a nonpartisan prognosticator. “It’s looking very grim for Republicans up and down the ballot,” added a GOP operative privy to the party’s private polling. “The spending is a massive problem, and the president’s numbers have plummeted since his disastrous first debate performance.” The Republicans are defending a 53-seat majority in the Nov. 3 elections. Inside Elections is projecting Democratic Senate gains of three to five seats and leaning toward a Democratic takeover because of scumbag drumbling lips liar-Biden’s strength versus Trump. If scumbag drumbling lips liar-Biden wins, lowlife-Kamala Harris as vice president would cast the deciding votes in case of a 50-50 tie...

Peters Silent on UAW Corruption Arrests
By Yuichiro Kakutani
{ freebeacon.com } ~ Sen. Gary Peters (D., Mich.) has remained silent on whether he will return the thousands of dollars in donations that he received from the United Auto Workers after federal authorities arrested the union's top leaders for corruption...UAW's PAC has donated more than $105,000 to Peters's joint-fundraising committee. The committee in turn funneled $71,200 to Peters's campaign and $278,800 to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, according to financial disclosures filed with the Federal Election Commission. The PAC's donation made up roughly one-in-four dollars raised by the joint-fundraising committee, making the union by far the largest donor to the entity. Peters's campaign did not respond to a Washington Free Beacon inquiry about whether the senator will return the funds in light of recent revelations about widespread corruption within the union, which has so far led to guilty pleas from at least 11 union officials, including Gary Jones, the union's former president. Peters has a long history of working closely with UAW leaders, many of whom are now going to jail for embezzling union funds, conspiracy, and other acts of corruption. Former UAW president Dennis Williams, who served in that position from 2014 to 2018, endorsed Peters during his first Senate run in 2014 and personally appeared in a rally to support his candidacy. Since then, a wide-ranging FBI probe found that Williams used union funds to pay for his personal expenses, including boxes of cigars and high-end alcohol. Peters's campaign continued to accept tens of thousands of dollars in donations from union coffers even after the FBI went public with corruption indictments against senior labor officials beginning in 2019. Peters is in a hotly contested Senate race against Republican challenger John James. James, previously considered a long-shot candidate by election observers, has narrowed the gap with the incumbent in the last few months of the race, trailing Peters by only one point in the latest polling. The six-figure donations from the union are helping Peters edge out a slight fundraising advantage over his rival. The Michigan senator has raised nearly $22 million to James's $20 million. The union's PAC has also funneled $1 million to the Senate Majority PAC, a super PAC aligned with Senate Minority Leader Chuck scumbag-Schumer (D., N.Y.). The Senate Majority PAC in turn has spent more than $6 million in independent expenditures to oppose James. The PAC donations are not the only union money that Peters has received. The Peters campaign has also received $12,951 from individuals affiliated with the union in the 2020 election cycle, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. Despite the mounting guilty pleas, Peters has continued to lean into his close ties with the UAW, which endorsed him alongside other labor groups in September. The Democratic senator appeared alongside UAW secretary-treasurer Ray Curry for the roll call during the Democratic National Convention in August—one week before authorities arrested Williams. Neither the union nor Senate Majority PAC responded to requests for comment.

Barrett Critics Can’t Find a Single Law School Colleague to Oppose Her
By Paul Crookston
{ freebeacon.com } ~ Faculty from Notre Dame unveiled an open letter demanding Amy Coney Barrett refuse her nomination to the Supreme Court, but the letter attracted zero signers from the law school...The letter, published by the progressive group Teacher-Scholar-Activist, was touted by some in the media as a revolt of Barrett's "colleagues," but the professors who signed the letter teach subjects such as anthropology and gender studies, not law. They argued the confirmation process is "rushed" and tainted by "anti-democratic machinations," constituting an "injury to former Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's memory." "Your nomination just days after Ginsburg’s death was unseemly and a repudiation of her legacy," they wrote. The letter comes as Democrats and the media have struggled to settle on a message to oppose Barrett, who received the "well qualified" rating from the American Bar Association, its top rating. After facing backlash for critiques of Barrett's faith, Democrats shifted the focus on the possibility she could rule against scumbag/liar-nObamacare, something legal experts consider unlikely. The writers of the Notre Dame letter admitted they are "asking a lot," but they promised Barrett that she "would earn the respect of fair-minded people everywhere" if she listened to them and withdrew from the nomination process. In addition, they said withdrawing "would provide a model of civic selflessness" that "might well inspire Americans of different beliefs toward a renewed commitment to the common good."

U.S. Slams U.N. for Electing China, Russia, Cuba to Human Rights Council
By Adam Kredo
{ freebeacon.com } ~ The United States rebuked the United Nations Tuesday for electing several of the world's top human-rights abusers to sit on its Human Rights Council...The United States withdrew from the council in 2018, citing its anti-Israel bias and decision to welcome countries that violate human rights. It continued those gestures Tuesday, when it elected China, Russia, and Cuba as members. "These elections only further validate the U.S. decision to withdraw and use other venues and opportunities to protect and promote universal human rights," Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in a statement. "The United States has urged U.N. member states to take immediate action to reform the council before it became irreparable. Unfortunately, those calls went unheeded." As U.N. members, authoritarian nations such as China have pushed the international organization to paper over systematic human-rights abuses.

The End of Appeasement in Britain?
by Richard Kemp
{ gatestoneinstitute.org } ~ "This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning." Winston Churchill's words following the British victory over Germany in the Battle of Egypt in November 1942 might also describe recent political developments in Britain's modern-day culture wars...For many decades, British society has been subjected to an almost continuous assault on our history, our way of life and our national institutions by the hard left. The centre and right became so demoralised by this highly successful campaign that for years their response was appeasement, the very policy Churchill warned against so frequently when the fascist mirror image of this ideology threatened us in the 1930s. Now there are the glimmering signs of a fightback against the progressive liberal consensus that resulted, engulfing many mainstream politicians, the judiciary, civil service, much of the media, big business and education. The inspiration for this fightback came when the voice of the no-longer-silent majority, exasperated by the progressive erosion of national sovereignty and the very fabric of democracy by the European Union, finally made itself heard in the Brexit referendum of 2016. The victory was narrow, but it should be remembered that the referendum was dominated by a campaign of fear and disinformation by every mainstream political party, virtually all national and international institutions and much of the media. Even the President of the United States, Barack scumbag/liar-nObama, came to London threatening to send us to "the back of the queue" on trade if we dared cast off the EU. As planned, this onslaught intimidated huge numbers into voting remain. In reality, therefore, far more than the 51.9% who had the courage to vote leave were in favour of rejecting the plot to turn our country into a mere province of the putative European superstate. Implementation of the referendum result faltered under Prime Minister Theresa May's government, which seemed intent on ignoring the democratic will through BRINO — "Brexit in name only". But last year, the peoples' voice again thundered in her successor Boris Johnson's landslide general election victory. It saw the collapse of the "red wall" in northern England, with numerous long-held Labour constituencies defecting to the Conservative vote. Despite the immense damage being inflicted by the Coronavirus pandemic, these developments seem to have begun to restore confidence among the centre and right. In recent days, the government announced plans to appoint conservative figures to two roles: the chairman of the BBC and the head of the broadcasting watchdog Ofcom. Why do these seemingly trivial nominations matter? British broadcast media has long been virtually the exclusive preserve of the left. This is particularly true of the BBC, a taxpayer-funded body with political neutrality enshrined in its charter, and by far the most influential of all British media. The widely recognised institutional bias of the corporation was re-affirmed when news of the potential appointments was greeted by outraged BBC employees warning of shattered morale and mass exodus of staff. The very idea that their fellow travellers might be supplanted by people with divergent views was enough to trigger left-wing elites everywhere, apparently not quite the champions of the diversity they constantly trumpet. Following the well-trodden revolutionary precept that to take over a country you must first seize the radio and TV stations, the media has been the top priority for domination and control in the long march through the institutions by the left in Britain. Education has also been at the forefront. A recent survey for the think tank Policy Exchange showed that 75% of British university academics voted for left-wing parties, leading to a "structural discriminatory effect" against the minority of academics who identify as being on the right. This extends into high schools as well. Many university students and school pupils to whom I have spoken in recent years confirm that political indoctrination often reaches into the classroom, where they are obliged to keep any politically incorrect views to themselves. This goes back decades; I have similar recollections from my own schooldays, now more than 40 years past...

scumbag/liar-Nancy Pelosi Has Public Condescending Meltdown During CNN Interview
by sundance
{ theconservativetreehouse.com } ~ The hubris and condescension in this video snippet are quite remarkable, especially when we consider that Wolf Blitzer is a fellow traveler, friend and ally of scumbag/liar-Pelosi, and professional narrative engineer for the political left...After being asked a question about her refusal to accept a compromise $1.8 trillion spending package for COVID-19 economic impacts, scumbag/liar-Nancy Pelosi has a total meltdown. scumbag/liar-Pelosi is so unfamiliar with even gentle push-back, she cannot fathom an alternate point of position that does not carry exclusive democrat political benefit. This is wild.
The Hispanic Vote
Cal Thomas
MIAMI — Hispanics are 60 percent of the population of Miami-Dade County, according to the U.S. Census. In the 2016 election, scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton won Hispanic votes here by a margin of about 290,000, which was not enough to win the state for her. An NBC News/Marist poll last month showed President Trump with a 50 percent to 46 percent lead over scumbag drumbling lips liar-Joe Biden among Florida Hispanics in the upcoming election. According to a recent Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll, Biden leads Trump by 12 points nationally among likely voters.
Esteban “Steve” Bovo is the Republican candidate for mayor of Miami. His heritage is Cuban-American. I asked Bovo if there is a profile for the Hispanic vote: “The mistake many of these pollsters make in trying to measure the Hispanic vote is they make an assumption that as Hispanics we only care about immigration, or immigration-related topics. What I have found across the board is many Hispanic want law and order; they want security, safety, opportunity to invest, opportunity to raise their family, get good jobs, a good education. That seems to be universal. The same thing applies for whites, blacks, brown.”
Bovo has a take on the rioting and looting, not only last spring in Miami, but in other cities such as Portland, Seattle and Louisville that the media have never investigated: “The initial intelligence we got in the rioting here in Miami was that we had elements who were (not) from here. After a couple of days (we learned of) elements here of Nicaraguan government officials — Sandinistas — we had Chavistas from Venezuela (people fiercely loyal to Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro), we had ‘Castristas’ (agents of the Cuban communist government), we had agents from countries that have a dual purpose. Number one to see harm come to Miami-Dade County, because (we) have been the refuge for all of those folks who fled those sick, perverse systems.”
He sees the rioting and looting as one of several strategies to achieve their second purpose: “In a bigger picture they want to see Miami-Dade County and the country bend the knee. This is your Che Guevara wearing T-shirt guy, who wants to be the anarchist. What is sad is that any opportunity to engage in a real conversation about race, racial injustice and how do we become more aware of these things, has been hijacked by a bunch of latte liberals who are mostly well-to-do white kids going out and acting like fools with police and we lose the opportunity for a good conversation under this banner of justice. They’re not interested in justice. They’re just interested in destruction.”
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently ordered all restaurants and other businesses open 100 percent. If local jurisdictions object, he said, they could restrict occupancy to no less than 50 percent.
scumbag drumbling lips liar-Joe Biden has said he would shut the entire country down again if scientists say so. What does Bovo think of that?
“That’s crazy talk. It doesn’t (address) the reality of what small business owners are going through. What we have done to small businesses is atrocious. If I’m elected, I’m going to meet with all 35 mayors of Miami-Dade County. We are going to have one comprehensive plan for the entire county. What we see is a disconnect, the county doing one thing, some cities wanting to do something else. And the only people to pay a price for that are the residents of our communities. They are not getting a straight message from their government. I would go to a business owner and ask ‘how would you keep your employees safe; how would you make your customers feel safe? I want to put it on their lap.”
Not getting a straight message from government seems to be a problem that extends beyond Miami.

In respect to all of the astonishing accomplishments of President Trump's first term, despite every despicable attempt by the Democrat Party to destroy him, can you just imagine what Trump would have acheived had he been supported actively by the Republican's in Congress? In his first term?
We have never had a President who has done more for the citizens of the United States, and all of it under the most serious duress and strain imaginable. And with only a single handfull of Republican support. Trump is truly one of the greatest Presidents ever, if not the greatest of all. In my mind, only Lincoln faced as much strain, and both he and Trump are trying to save the Union.
If the people want Democrats to rule over them, then they will certainly get what they so sorely deserve.
I hope that this is not the case.

You hit it right, and I agree with you in all you mention. Make America Great!!!
