It works fine for me... when we have leaders willing to use their power to remove the corrupt in law enforcement... when we have leaders who know the difference between real enforcement and investigations that go nowhere... when we have a leader who is willing to issue Presidential Arrest warrants for half of the DOJ, FBI, and others who have failed in their duty. It works well for me when the laws are enforced not thwarted by institutional corruption.
The President of the United States is the Chief constitutional law enforcement officer... the only officer specifically directed to "... take care that the laws be faithfully executed..." President Lincoln issued arrest warrants that jailed members of Congress and a Supreme Court Justice... for sedition, treason, insurrection, and other causes. We should expect no different from our President... and those agents in the DOJ and FBI who spurned Pres. Trump's power should have been ARRESTED not fired... tried and sent to prison for sedition as they were indeed behind a hidden agenda to remove him from office... just as many were in Lincoln's time as President.
One should not take the job as President if he is incapable of wielding the sword of justice or too weak to stand against tyranny in high places. A President must be able to think independently and arrive at sound, lawful, and Constitutional decisions that preserve the Union and defend the office of the President and the People's ultimate soverignty.
Compared to the number of Illegals coming across Our Borders, a 100,000+ Russian Soldiers is nothing but a "Slight of Hand Trick performed by a Cheap Magician!"
I assure you that 100K well trained Russian soldiers backed by a modern air force and navy are much more formidable than millions of ragtag illegal immigrants... armed with covid and other diseases. Only the ignorant would call such a force a sleight of hand trick.
That is just plain backwards and wrong Ron. Expecting Law Enforcement and Courts to correct the wrongs running amuck throughout those controlling the purse strings and media is naive at best, ignorant at even and stupid at worst! Only when the "People" demand Change, do things Change. Only when the Law and the Courts feel threatened do they change to the Community's wants and needs.
Not only do I expect the Courts and Law Enforcement to enforce the law... I expect them to do it consistently and uniformly...
Who else would enforce the law... vigilantes... the People. Vigilante justice is random and often the fruit of vengeance or retribution. We need moral men and women in law enforcement and running our judicial system... not vigilantes. Justice must be the product of due process and the orderly and careful application of the law by professional law enforcement... not vigilante justice.
