Leadership ... effective leadership answers the critical questions of government and society... Good leaders set a course away from turbulent seas and dangerous shores. Good leadership sets the ship of state on a course with fair winds, and calm seas; where peace and safety rule the day. Leaders helm the ship of state, not the citizens. Leaders set the course of nations, not the crew.
The people don't choose where their government takes them... they choose leaders, who in turn set a course for their SHip of State. I say again, the public doesn't choose the road they take or the seas they sail upon... It is those they elect who pilot the state. When good leaders rule the country travels a road to prosperity and secuirty... not because of the people's wisdom or their setting the course for government.... it is because of good leadership that they sail in fair seas or travel a safe road to arrive at a common and desirable destination.
The people choose leaders.., good leaders lead the people on a path to liberty, prosperity, and peace... THE QUESTION THEN BECOMES WHERE IS OUR LEADERSHIP TAKING US AND IS IT GOOD LEADERSHIP? The problem is not what will the people do... as they did all they can by voting and making their voices heard by their leaders... it is now up to the leadership in America... Political and Institutional ... the captains of industry, government, and our cultural institutions, to LEAD US OUT OF THIS MESS, and if they won't or are unable... the whip of tyranny most certainly will prevail in its destruction of our nation.

The Old Testament covenant was fulfilled with the advent of Christ and His New Testament... and that which the blood of man could not reconcile was satisfied with the Blood Of Christ.
The entire Old Testament points to the need for a Messiah and the coming reconciliation between mankind and God thru the Spirit of LIfe in Jesus Christ. The Psalms and Prophets of the Old Testament anticipated the coming of the Lord, as the Messiah, and prophesied the events preparing the way for Jesus Christ's advent.
The Old Testament is a standing witness to the authenticity of the New Testament... it remains as the schoolmaster and a guide for the disciples of Christ... The New Testament fulfilled the promises of the Old Testament and demonstrates the need for God's continued intervention in the world to maintain perfect order... peace and safety, prosperity, and healing... every righteous need of mankind.
The Old Testament stands as the doorway to applying and understanding the New Testament... the two are necessary for the proper interpretation and understanding of the FULL WORD OF GOD.
AMEN- though I have to confess that I most often struggle to understand the full meanings of so much of that great book!
Christ has got you covered... He left the 5-fold ministry of Ephesians 4:11 for the equipping, edification, and perfection of the Saints until he returns... Christ gave some... Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and teachers... as the core Ministry of Christ on the Earth ... too, assist the weak with answers to questions regarding the Faith and its daily operation.
