over the weekend where he committed to scrapping any barrier construction in the park—There was not going to be a 30 foot wall, but it sounds like they’re also going to do away with the vehicle barriers that were planned for the area. Governor Abbott says they can use technology and other resources to prevent illegal crossings.

A lot of the clearing (now paused) is for patrol roads… It will be interesting to see if that scrap that part of the plan as well.
