I won my Republican primary by roughly 65 percent to 34 percent.
In the Will County portion of IL 01, there were 60 precincts where the combined Republican vote beat Jonathan Jackson. In 19 of those precincts, I beat him outright on my own.
That matters.
It shows that when Republicans compete here, voters respond.
It shows there is a real path when the campaign has the resources to organize, communicate, and reach persuadable voters across the district.
IL 01 is not just a Chicago race. It includes the South Side, the South Suburbs, Will County, and Kankakee County.
This district has families who care about public safety, better schools, lower costs, strong borders, election integrity, small businesses, and leadership that actually shows up.
I am Christian Maxwell, the Republican nominee for Congress in Illinois’ 1st District, and I am building a campaign that is already proving this race should not be written off.
The data says there is movement.
The voters say there is frustration.
The district says there is an opening.
Now we need investment to scale the ground game, voter outreach, digital operation, and visibility needed to turn opportunity into victory.
