    • Ronald, I don't understand what you mean by "tearing down the system" then. The system is built on the Constitution. That is the whole point of a Constitution. A system doesn't exist in a vacuum, on the side of a Constitution, created by corrupt men and women only.

If the Constitution is so great, why did it not prevent us ending up where we are today? A solid Consitution ensures that the US doesn't go downhill again as it is doing now. We need to give the Constitution some teeth so that we only end up with "men and women in politics who will faithfully follow our current Constitution to administer the government." Otherwise what will prevent corruption from creeping in again, say in another 200 years, long after our current fixes are lost?

    • We must remove the elements of the ADMINISTRATIVE STATE... that exist as the sole creation of the Bureaucratic State; those agencies, agents, regulations, and rules, not established by an act of Congress must go.  All administrative law and regulatory authority must be codified by Congress and signed into law by the president to be lawful.

We must remove and end the fiat law of the Courts... end the doctrine of 'Stari decisis' as law.  The Federal Courts findings must be limited to the CASE IN LAW BEFORE THE COURT".... and no other.  An unconstitutional law, or bad law, must be removed by Congress and until it is acted on by Congress those seeking relief from such law must bring THEIR case for adjudication before a court of lawful jurisdiction.  The findings of the court are not law and apply only to the current case before the court.

We must reestablish the limits of the bureaucracy to govern ... striking down their usurped authority to make law by abusing their REGULATORY AUTHORITY.   The bureaucracy must be limited to administering the Statutory law, those laws created by Congress... they may not add to or expand such law by regulation.  Bureaucrats must not create rules or regulations that mimic law.  OSHA and the FDA may establish rules and procedures for compliance with existing laws... They may not use their administrative authority to create new laws or to expand old their authority under existing laws. The administrative state must remain between the lines... exercising the power of the law only where Congress has CODIFIED the rules in the law

    • All of this happened within the framework of the current Constitution. Every single thing. None of it is unconstitutional. What makes you think that we can make any changes within the same framework that made this sorry state possible in the first place? Wishful thinking that the Constitution would deliver a different outcome?

Your statement, "tear out the current system and install a completely new one" says very clearly that we need a new system, or in other words, a new Constitution since the current Constitution establishes the system we live in. Why do you backtrack from your initial and accurate statement?

    • The Constitution is fundamentally the same document it has been from the beginning. It is the administration and abuse of the Constitution's legal authority that has perverted much of its meaning and administration.

Governments derive their power to govern from the force of law... statutory and constitutional law in the USA provide the legal authority for the government to use its power to govern. The Constitution is the supreme law and it is supposed to be the basis for all other laws... statutory, administrative, and regulatory. However, our leaders have strayed far from their roots and the result is what we see today... subverted Constitutional Government.

How did this happen... a large part of that answer lies in the abuse of our Courts. The political parties and special interests have turned the administration of justice into a well that serves their political purposes. Courts were never to have legislative authority but the Judiciary, professional politicians, and civil service have permitted the Courts to undermine the supremacy of Constitutional law, establishing the dicta of the courts, JUDICIAL FINDINGS AS LAW. The law of the courts is replacing our Constitutional and statutory law... putting society under bondage to an arbitrary system of law and political expediency.

No document under the administration of government stands alone... the law, statutory and constitutional, must have the faithful support of those who administer the law... the Constitution. Political and special interests must not be permitted to sit on the benches of Justice. Today, we find lifetime appointments to the bench being treated as the spoils of POLITICAL IDEOLOGY. It is the appointment of such compromised men and women to the judiciary and the BAR, that has destroyed the independent judiciary and judicial integrity... leading to the demise of the Constitutional government.

The Constitution is only as good as those enforcing it... the laws are only as effective as those administering them. We have terrible Politicians, Civil Servants, and activist Judges administering the government. making the Constitution useless as they ignore or misrepresent it. No document, law, or compact, can survive under such a twisted and fallacious administration of its foundation...

The core problem with today's government is not the Constitution... The key problem rests with those individuals (politicians, civil servants, judiciary) that administer the law and Constitutional branches of government. Any effort to return to constitutional government of the people, by the people, and for the people MUST FIRST ACKNOWLEDGE AND REMOVE THE CORE PROBLEM...

Recall the current government subject to new elections... recall all elected and appointed federal officials serving today... subject to new elections and appointments. Remove the Cancer eating away at the Constitution by removing its agents. Pass a TERM LIMITS AND RECALL AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION. Remove all the senior members (elected and appointed) in the federal government... subject to new elections and appointments.

A 'Term Limits and a Recall Amendment'… will correct the core problems with the Administration of the Constitution... Term limits would put the citizen back in the driver's seat of our government.  One Term, 6yrs  in length, with 1/3 of the government standing for election and appointment, every 2yrs... similar to the way the US Senate is elected...

Term Limits would destroy the spoils system of government… and end the manipulation of the Constitution and statutory law by a core of elite professional politicians, senior civil servants, and the judiciary.  The money would become less influential in politics. Once elected or appointed to office our representatives would not be indebted to lobbyists or need their financial support.

The influence of special interests needed to retain office would end... with one term... Our representatives would not need to kowtow to the special interests or lobbyists... thus, breaking the power of incumbency and the political parties.

The Recall provision in such an Amendment would provide the legal means to recall the current government and put in place a method to recall federal representatives in the hands of the State Legislatures. Federal service would be at the convenience of the State they represent... not the patronage of the wealthy, special interests, or political parties.

The Constitution is fine... those administering it are SICK and need to be removed.

    • How can you say "the Constitution is fine" and also say "our leaders have strayed far from their roots and the result is what we see today... subverted Constitutional Government"? It sure sounds like the Constitution made straying from it and subverting it possible. The Constitution is the framework of all else after all. It is obvious that the Constitution's checks and balances did not work properly "when individuals (politicians, civil servants, judiciary) that administer the law and Constitutional branches of government" are so subversive that we end up where we are today. A good Constitution would ensure that it can't be corrupted by immoral actors, right? It should not need to rely on the good and impeccible morality of people.

    • The Constitution provides a means to amend it when it becomes necessary for good order and governance... a Recall and Term Limits Amendment would remove and keep profiteering and power-hungry men and women from derailing our government.  Other amendments may be added to require a balanced budget and to reaffirm the supremacy of the People and several States over the federal government.  We need good men and women in government... No written instrument can guarantee good government. It is those who govern who hold the keys to good government.

The US Constitution is the greatest written instrument of its kind the world has ever seen... we don't need to tear it up and start over.  We need to elect and appoint men and women of great moral authority to administer its principles for sound government.  The Constitution contains all the teeth and processes needed to enforce its use and to keep it current.

    • Thanks for clarifying. I will jot down your statement "to tear out the current system and install a completely new one" as something written in haste and not thought through.

Still, I believe we can't deny that the "greatest written instrument of its kind the world has ever seen" provided the framework to get us to the pathetic state in which we find the USA today.

    • Just the opposite… the US Constitution did not bring us to where we are today… It was evil and warped minds that misapplied and deliberately conspired to subvert the US Constitution… that put us where we are today

The US Constitution contains the foundation upon which our government’s powers and fundamental principles are organized and administered.  It represents the best efforts of our founding fathers to secure the blessings of liberty and the common good for all men.  It remains the best of mankind's efforts at self-government and DOES NOT NEED REPLACING.

The TEARING DOWN of the Administrative State… returning government to its constitutional roots is what I intended to state… The Administrative State is the product of a New World Order and a plutocracy of evil, that needs to be removed from our government.

    • This is the crucial part in your reply, "God’s Word defines morality, Morality is defined in the 66 Books of the Old and New Testaments." When we talk about "God's Word", we are only talking about the Old AND New Testatement, not the Old Testament alone or the Quran or the Bhagavad Gita or some other text. Morality is rooted in Christianity and in nothing else, even if we have to define what version of Christianity we are talking about since there are some so called "Christians" who are anything but Christians like the members of the "United Church of Christ". We have to be clear that we are talking about a well defined version of Christianity only.

    • Even an "activist judiciary" is set up under the Constitution initially. It doesn't come out of the blue. - For the record, I am not berating the US Constitution. I am only saying that it provided the framework for immoral actors to subvert it and to get us to where we are today. We need to fix this. Add amendments. It's not like we would be doing this for the first time. The US Constitution was fixed 27 times throughout its history with 27 amendments. If we get good actors in office today as we did with the Founding Fathers way back when, today's good actors will be gone again and eventualy we might end up in the same mess as today if we don't fix things.
