Washington Post: Walt Disney, JPMorgan Chase and Dick’s Sporting Goods said Friday they would cover employee travel expenses for abortions in light of the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down Roe v. Wade, joining the ranks of corporate giants scrambling to adjust to the new reality. Disney said the “family planning” benefit would be extended to any worker who cannot access care where they live, including “pregnancy-related decisions.” The company employs 195,000 worldwide, including roughly 80,000 in Florida (Washington Post). CNBC: JPMorgan Chase, one of the largest employers in the U.S. financial industry, told workers that it will pay for travel to states that allow legal abortions, according to a memo. The news came as part of an internal communication to employees explaining expanded medical benefits set to begin in July (CNBC). Townhall: Amazon is another woke corporation that will encourage its female employees to get an abortion by paying them a stipend of $4,000 to cover travel expenses that are not available within a 100 mile-radius of their home. And last but not least, streaming giant Netflix announced it will also provide female employees a hefty stipend of $10,000 for travel costs and the procedure itself (Townhall).
